Because nothing has come out about a console coming out I wonder if we could be looking at Slim versions of existing consoles with the added perk of upscaling to 4k for users that can support it. We're in the 3rd year and if the past is anything to reflect on we should be seeing "slims" or "model 2s" soon anyway. What if it's just a simple software update to upscale to 4k? Then newer titles will have an option to play in true 4k if they were developed with that ...
Then Justin beiber is your best musician and McDonalds makes your best food.
And N64...😊
Xbox 360 is king of all my consoles simply because it's modded and I can play NES, SMS, Genesis, TG16, Gameboy, GameGear, Atari, Odyssey 2, Game oy advance, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, 32x, Sega CD, Mame, Dreamcast, and OG Xbox games along with 360 and Xbla with a few clicks on a controller. It's also my music library of over 30,000 songs. It's my baby.
I'm afraid hackers will use Sony's network to infiltrate Xbox live and get everyone's information
I'm guessing it's going to be more like ps4k will support the higher resolution if the software is made to do so. Not like the 32x where you had to buy the 32x version of for example Mortal Kombat 2. It will be the same disc just with more options if you have the new hardware. Like having a DVD with both the bluray version and DVD version on the disc. You would just play the version your hardware can play.
Need this today!
I'm excited for it!
I like the convenience of not swapping discs. Wish I could play installed games without the disc in the tray. I understand why you can't but it would be a perk for physical discs.
My nodded 360 allows me to fully install games and keep my discs on my shelf. I don't take advantage like the general public would I guess. I like having my physical library for display. Saves wear and tear on the discs by installing them as well.
I'd like to see Nintendo make some western style games out of their properties. Skyrim styled Zelda, A true Mario 64 follow up, Fzero with online multiplayer, ... I guess those are the few that would get my interest. Nintendo games just don't do it for me anymore I guess.
Xbox has Gears and for me it's my favorite franchise of the HD generation. Elder scrolls and Fallout series are my other two faves. I don't have time to own more than one console at this point with 3 kids. Xbox has the games I want.
BC is great. Hopefully all my xbla purchases will become available on Xbox one. I have over 200 games digitally on my Xbox account and I'm glad I can access Streets of Rage collection, Shadow Complex, Gears series, and more with a few clicks on the controller. Also I can use the games at the same time on Xbox one and 360 for multiplayer. It's awesome.
Madden football has a way of traveling back to 2007 every year. It's like a nostalgic football game now with new rosters.
Probably another Force Unleashed type game. Just waiting to hear from bioware.
Kind of a bad list. Sega CD rage in the cage is missing the royal rumble. The Genesis and Snes royal rumble games trounced it. No mercy is the best and not listed Fire Pro isn't even listed. Tecmo World Wrestling...not listed.
I'm guessing this author was stuck with a ps1 for most of his gaming because he actually included Nitro which is trash.
My 5 year old went through phases. He got the Ds with Mario 64 but didn't get very far. Then I showed him Sega Genesis and Nintendo and basically played a little but mostly Thomas the train and Sonic 1's first level that he could complete. He's probably 3.5 years old at that time. He also could play tablet games. He started learning to navigate through my 360 and found Sonic adventure. He stuck with this game until he unlocked every character. He then moved on to Sonic Adve...
The only good thing about that game was the soundtrack. Every thing else was blah

You still keep the games without gold sub. I've had no problems accessing my games with a silver account.
1. Genesis/Snes
2. Xbox 360
3. N64
....all the rest...imo
