I'm still waiting for a Wii U price drop since the switch came out. Doesn't look like it's going to.
They kind of do. I bought and played old games again to see what the achievements would actually be. I got to experience some games I probably wouldn't have visited again without the little bonus. Streets of Rage 3 I learned that there was a Maximum special move. i played that for years on the old Sega and had no clue it was in the game. I only learned of it because there was an achievement to be had to perform it. Now I use the move on bosses.
Achievements jus...
Thank you. I hate clicking through junk just to see the games
Die hard Arcade was a blast!
The last game from ubisoft I liked online was Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Spies vs Mercs was so addictive. I don't play online much anymore because everyone mods their controllers and cheats. Ruins it for people that just want to relax and have a good time.
Streets of Rage 2 for life! But I spent a ton of time in River City Ransom reading books and buying cds to upgrade my skills. Dragon Feet and Acro-circus destroyed them all. I always wanted to see River City Ransom in 3-D but the closest thing to it would be something like Sleeping Dogs, Yakuza, or even Shenmue if you had the patience to master the moves.
That game was puke.
Remake the Original Phantasy Star trilogy (3 was an offshoot) but with today's tech. It would be awesome probably like Mass Effect but with turn based fighting.
Nintendo holding back to create a larger demand. They did it with the SNES, N64, Wii, and now this. Nintendo couldn't do it with Gamecube because it was launched the same month as the Xbox and with PS2 selling so well they had to fight for second place. This time, they really don't have anything competing with it to create the holiday must have item. It's going to be big like Cabbage Patch Kids, Elmo, and Furby. And Nintendo knows exactly what they're doing.
Man, 1991 was a great year. I remember Streets of Rage, Toejam and Earl, Bonk's Revenge, Joe Montana Football with the sports talk, Police Quest 3 the kindred, Quack Shot, Road Rash, Street Fighter 2, Tecmo Superbowl, TMNT Turtles in Time, WWF Wrestle Fest,...too many spring to mind. That was a huge gaming year for me. 16-bit was in the most bitter war at this time. Sonic versus Mario, Streets of Rage versus Final Fight, FZero versus Road Rash, and while kids were fighting over which w...
We're not far from a skylander/amiibo type game where every wrestler will cost $10 a piece. Crazy
No, everytime I tried to load up my back up save it would give me a message saying my save file is corrupt and I had to redownload all the dlc. I've tried a ton of things and nothing worked. I just keep the game offline and it seems to be stable. When I googled the problem people are saying it has something to do with the Future Stars and Legends dlc. Many people have had to start all over with their games because of the structure they chose to use for the save file. Basically your s...
2k15 and 2k16 have game ruining game save file issues. I'm going to sit out a few years and see if they ever fix it or just seperate the Created wrestlers from the save file. Nothing is worse than dumping hours into creating your favorite wrestlers and stables only to have them disappear because some download corrupted the save file. I have one Xbox that stays offline and I've had no issues with it so I'll stick to that for a few more years.
If you want to experience peace or lack of competition try stomaching Madden NFL. No competition means no need to improve the product which creates zombies who buy the same thing year after year.
This was meant to reply to monkeyman
I used to collect physical games but now I don't care about it. I have my collection on a hard drive. I want the statue to display.
I love Streets of Rage!
Odyssey 2 to Sega Master System to Genesis and a NES, to SNES to Saturn to N64, to Dreamcast to PS2, to XboxOG, to 360. Bought Xbox One and sold after about a year of owning it. Seems like the Xbox one is only really good for playing 360 games so I just keep playing 360.
The 360 generation is very tough to be better than...even the PS2/Xbox era hold up to be the best games ever. This trend will continue because I feel like there's nothing left to do in gaming. We're basically playing the same games with nicer graphics.
I'll never forget how mind blowing NFL 2k and NBA 2k were when they came out.
The Snes version was missing the music and most of the commentary. Genesis TE was the good one.
