Acclaim/ljn/flying edge were great when Royal Rumble came out in 1993. Then Raw was ok, a little too silly, then those awful mortal Kombat wrestling games on Saturn and PlayStation were gross. Thq's Aki games are legendary.
The only 2 games I still play to this day. Smack down has never come close.
The controls are so dumb it's not worth the headache. Wish they'd just make a proper part 3.
I think the thing I'm happy about is that I dumped a lot of money into Xbla and that MS wasn't initially having them transfer over to X1 was stupid and greedy. Sell us the same games twice. Now they are allowing me to access to some, and more down the road. It should have been there in the first place. It was another reason to keep another piece of hardware hooked up to the tv and a reason so many are waiting to buy in to next generation.
I still have my Sega co...
I may be wrong but I feel like the X1 is just a suped up 360. I believe it was built already able to run 360 games from the get go. They just initially wanted to make money off of it but because X1 isn't selling like Ps4, it was a quick way to get a leg up on Sony. Xbox one, Xbox, 360, and Dreamcast all run similarly. Windows dx11, dx12, and whatever they are up to now. When working on home brew games it was simple to write and convert code from Dreamcast to Xbox to 360. It was usua...
People don't agree because they're suckers that are easily amused.
It's the same graphics. Might have some better textures and small stuff but I'm not getting any different or better experience from Fallout 4 that I didn't already get from previous games.
This generation is the "been there, played that...now in more HD" generation.
I think fallout 4 was meant to come out for 360/PS3. The graphics are the same as Fallout 3/Vegas.
People still buy discs?
Halo 2 and NFL 2k5 is what addicted me to Xbox Live. It's hard to imagine gaming without it today. Now I'm playing Gears 3 and Madden (wish 2kfootball would come back)and still having a good time all these years later. It's a staple in my gaming habit routine.
...x1 needs custom soundtracks. I used to jam faith no more all day with Halo 2.
Also the best capcom fighters were on Saturn and Dreamcast. PlayStation versions were bogged down by mad flicker and slow down. Plus that Saturn dpad was boss on Street Fighter and the marvel fighters.
@Remix116
Hahaha, you know Gears 3, Gears of War Judgement, Halo 4, Forza 4, Forza Horizon, etc... came out after 2010. Whatever.
Sony exculsives = Wannabe Nintendo and Xbox exclusives.
Get Xbox for great online gaming and the best of the genres. Get Nintendo for the family friendly platformers. Get Sony if you can't afford it because Sony does both about as good as they can but comes off generic. Resistance, Killzone, WarHawk, ...the...
The SNES was missing a lot of the voice over guy's sayings and just no music while you're playing. The SNES looked cleaner but the Genesis was a blast and more complete
Gears of War 1, 2, 3 (Judgement sucks though)
Shadow Complex
Halo 3
Lost Odyssey
Mass Effect
Crackdown 2
Fable 2
Ninja Gaiden 2
Too Human
Carcassonne
I lost a lot of time on my 360
It can happen. The problem is putting the resources into it knowing that only a small percentage of gamers will actually use the feature. How many here actually replay their old games more than three times? I've only done that when games were shorter in the 16 bit days or if it's a decent RPG with multiple endings like Fallout 3, Mass Effect, or KOTOR 1 and 2. I still revisit Shenmue 2 and KOTOR sometimes but I'm rare. Most gamers play finish and move on by either trading it ...
Sega Genesis/Sega in general had 55% market share from 1992-1994.
Same could be said for the PS2. All my PS2 fats I had I was forced to play the console upside down in order for it to read discs right. And those blue bottom PS2 games that were CD Rom games didn't read at all. Sony is no stranger to faulty hardware. Thank goodness they came out with the PS2 slim. It still plays all my games.
You bought Xbox 360 if you wanted the best Call of Duty, Halo, and Gears with the best online.
You bought a Wii if you wanted the best family games and platformers.
You bought a PS3 if you couldn't afford both and had to settle for Sony who had second rate versions of Xbox and Nintendo games.
Xbox and Nintendo were like going to the mall and buying fancy clothes. PS3 was like digging through the goodwill store with free internet Aol card...
360 Dominated in game attach rate. When people bought Wii, the general public didn't even realize you could take Wii Sports out of the console and play other titles.
PS3 people bought exclusives like Uncharted, MGS4, and Gran Turismo and were too poor to pay to play online.
360 had taken over with better versions of 3rd party titles, Halo 3 was still a big deal, and Gears of War hit the ground running. Forza made it easier for people to forget Sony as w...
Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, N64, Xbox360, then just smash all the rest after that.
360 is high because of the back compatibility and easy modding to play nearly any game from Atari all the way up to Dreamcast and N64. 360 is my all in one machine.
I try to pretend nitro and thunder don't exist. Hahaha, some garbage cash grabs is all those were.
