I think people had high hopes for this game and were let down...I know it was a bit passive for my tastes. Once you realize you are in a huge mission of gathering and upgrading yourself to you can carry more at a time it loses it's fun factor. Neat idea that just kind of falls flat.
I didn't know they had Final Showdown on a disc.
I love VF2 and VF5 on 360. I just watched Hard Target 2 and the movie features a fight scene that looks like the ground lit background in the first Virtua Fighter.
Bethesda games are basically Xbox/PC exclusives anyway. The Playstation versions always feel like an after thought and I gather that is why so many Playstation only owners don't like bethesda titles as much as Xbox and PC players.
Sony gamers hate wrpgs. They want crybaby jrpgs. Why cater to the haters?
I miss 2k, but madden is OK. It's just stagnet. Seems that ultimate team is all they care about now.
It's been around for a long time. Atari vs Commodore, Sega vs Nintendo, etc...Pepsi vs coke
"You know a game that launched with zero bugs that was by a major publisher? "
Just look a few generations ago at PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast and Gamecube games.
The games you bought were complete. The ones that were sold broken with bugs were left with poor reviews and game companies learned from it. Now they can use "updates" as a crutch to release garbage.
NFL 2k5 as an example included things that you now have to buy extra via ...
Sure...but just keep releasing garbage like madden, star wars battlefront, and NBA live. The gaming community is not hard to understand. It's the unwillingness of game companies to release quality and complete games not ridden with bugs, dlc, and other cheap ways to money grab off the players.
I still upload new Rosters for 2k5 but most of my friends play Madden so I play to be able to play with them.
I still play my personal franchise mode on 2k5.
I still can't understand why EA can't at least fix their clunky menu screens. They're so bad that even the loading circle is choppy trying to load it's dumb loading animation! It's a pain just to see your team stats, standings, and just overall navigation has been poop since 2000. Someone at EA should give 2k or Sony a call about how they're able to do their menus, presentation, and halftime shows without all the choppiness. This is 2016 not 1998.
I received my copy free for 360 and I can honestly say EA is probably like, 360 and PS3 owners are lucky to even get a version of the yearly update. The menus are the exact same. If you switch from M16 to M17 you only know it by new roster update and a new commentary...where the one guy is super excited about stiff arms still being in the game because you hear him say it at least 6 or 7 times per game. And he's excited about it even if the RB lost 5 yards on the play. It's truly f...
Dang, no football title. Even madden 08 on PC can't make the cut. PC needs an NFL game without EA.
No problems with 360 controllers
Those guys don't seem like they actually played anything since 1994 and are just blowing what their friends and media influenced. Adventure, A2, Sonic 4, Heroes, Generations, Colors, and even Unleashed are decent outings. Sonic 2 is still great and holds up just as well as Super Mario. I love both.
I still like this game. I don't understand the hate it received
Disney should do a 16bit compilation disc featuring all their titles for $30
I feel the same. The thumb sticks were a little bigger or something. My thumbs slip off x1
I sold my Xbox one for $200 without games or kinect
I can't wait for these, the movie, and the dimensions Lego sonic!
I think fighting games are a tough sell these days. Look at the recent Tekkens, Street Fighters, and Mortal Kombats. They all tried to come out with a 60 dollar price tag and really didn't sell that well. I think the formula worked great in the 16-bit days simply because we were really excited to have Ken, Ryu, Sub Zero, etc. on our home TVs that looked almost as good as their arcade counterparts. Then Dreamcast came along with Soul Calibur and it was actually better than the arcade. ...
