Gotta say I am against it but now the only games I play are downloads. Now I find myself selling off all my physical copies when the dlc is on sale. Most recent was Gears 3 for 7.99 back in February. It's convenient and I don't have room to display them anymore. Sad but true. I like my Sega genesis and master system boxes though.

It hurts Sony guys because they buy the console, Ps plus, and use the internet to post on N4g. If you could look up what percentage of ps4 users do on it I'd bet N4g would be at least 50%.
That's too much reliance on multiplayer to warrant a $60 price tag. Don't get me wrong, I do love SF4 but I can see why sales have dropped significantly since the 90s when one on one fighters were the rage. I still think a create a fighter, create a story, and create a move set could fuel the genre. Gamers love creating.

The thing with fighting games is back in 1991-1994, Street fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat were translations from arcade boards to 16 bit machines and to get a home version that was comparable was mind blowing.

I had MK II on 32x. Played and looked great. Never liked SNES shoulder buttons for fighters. Now I have a Sega USB 6 button controller for my fighters and it's awesome.
It already has. 1080p/60fps is all that matters. Otherwise, we're doomed to 720p purgatory where everything is blurry and unplayable...

Looks good. NBA looks good from 2k. Makes you wish someone other than EA could do football. The show and NBA 2k show what next generation sports are supposed to be. Madden keeps reminding me what happened in 2005 when EA killed competing football games.

I wasn't comparing Mario kart to Virtua tennis. I was only using it as an example of a low taxing game that last Gen hardware could handle 1080p\60fps. Skyrim made me angry when you get to the point where you choose sides and you just couldn't execute the mission. Had to wait until February when the patch came out to continue the story. There's no excuse for that kind of stuff. I feel it will continue to get worse with new consoles so I'm hesitant to buy into this new generation. I'm content with last Gen.
Mario kart isn't taxing hardware so this isn't that big o deal. It's like getting pumped up for a high resolution indie or arcade game. Virtua Tennis 3 on PS3 is 1080, 60fps...it's not taxing the hardware
One thing that Live does better than 2k? Collect dust at GameStop on the shelf. Big lots won't make anything on it either. Just put Live in the hole they left when they dug up those E.T. games.
