I don't care how many people are playing on PSN. I have, one second let me check... 10 games I play online (some a lot more than others) but if I log on to any of them I never have a problem finding a game. I like Geoff and all, but if he is going to have a discussion about online services he needs to get at least one person who is in support of PSN.
I'll admit I am a fanboy. I love my PS3 more than my 360. 2 years ago it would have been different though. But I am a fanboy with reason. I still love Gears and don't blindly throw it away because it isn't on my system of choice, it's just the PS3 has more that interests me.

Nice to see Kotaku on top of a bad PS3 story. Really copyrighted materials such as a picture of Mario or something like that is not needed in these levels and once people figure out that they aren't allowed we won't have a problem. The game is effin awesome by the way.

Released at a horrible time. I have been following the game for a while, and still fully intend on picking it up... but my pile of games has already increased too much lately.
Doesn't really matter what any site gives the game now. I played for at least 3 hours tonight, and it was 3 hours of fun.
Here's to hoping Mirror's Edge sucks. Not because I want it to (quite the opposite, actually), but because I don't want to have to buy like 10 games this holiday season.

Didn't listen to the podcast but I am guessing that they are saying the Socom franchise is dead because it had a bad launch? That might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard (assuming that's what they said). Resistance 2 is also not the only game to look forward to this holiday. I will leave non-exclusives out, but then there is Motorstorm 2, Valkyria Chronicles, and Socom and LBP are still around the holiday season. And if we are gonna argue about exclusives, Xbox doesn't have any more. Gea...

This looks exactly like what it is. Something rushed out to market to compete with Little Big Planet.
I don't think Sony or any game company is really dumb enough to announce a 256 player online game and then say only 30 people can play on each side at a time though.
Eh, was hoping for a little more information than these games are in testing phases. Good to hear though, I guess. Sucks for Resistance, but I don't own a PSP anyway.
Every piece of high tech hardware will have it's problems. Just because some people have had to take their PS3s back doesn't mean it's about to have the next RROD.
