Sorry Treyarch, but you have to put out more if you are going to release this game the same month as Gears and Resistance.
This hard drive upgrade I got last week is going to come in handy.
I am currently playing 4 games on a regular basis on PSN with friends, and have played others. None of which have I had a problem getting together and playing with them in.
It's good to see quality gaming news being reported on the site.
We probably won't get reviews for a couple of days. Since the game is online only, they need to play the final build online for a couple of days.
Don't make me laugh. I love Splinter Cell, but MGS spits all over it... wipes the spit with its shoe, then defecates upon it.
"why this game is such a big deal
It's a 2d platformer.
Could probably run on wii hardware."
You can do more with it than just 2D platforming, and when has 2D platforming ever been a bad thing.
And if you think it can run on a Wii... you either have no knowledge of technology or are an incredibly huge fanboy (I am going with the latter).
If you were to say, "Sounds good, but not my type of game."... well that...
The function definitely has it's uses, but it makes me laugh to think of people being too lazy to press the button and turn it off... so they are just gonna let it sit there till the time runs out.
Just because your a fan of a product doesn't mean you are a fan of the company. PS3 is the only Sony product I own, but I enjoy my PS3 more than my 360 or Wii. Overall I'd say there are more products I like from Microsoft, but the 360 isn't one of them.
You guys seem to be ignoring the fact that the title says 360 exclusives, not Microsoft exclusives.
As much as I love Splinter Cell... it is definitely not better than the MGS series. The online though (especially the second I believe it was) is better than MGO (Although I enjoy MGO too).
When I saw the picture of the desk, I almost threw up.
And I bet you didn't play Killzone. It was actually a pretty fun game. It wasn't a huge system seller, but it was at least worth a rent or lower priced buy. Many of the first games shortcomings had to do with technical things too... And this game appears to be a huge technical achievement. The gameplay in that video (and others I have seen) looks incredibly fun too.
I was pretty excited about this until I found out it was just an expansion for home. I could finally reveal my true colors while staying behind the mask called the internet.
I didn't pay for demos. I paid for Qore because I am a big chump and would pay for anything sony put on PSN... the demos are just a very very nice bonus.
I could name quite a few things Killzone has borrowed from other games. The thing is, they have borrowed all the best things, making it the complete package. Ironically, that means that the negative things this guy had to say could be said about other top games. Overall it is a positive article though, and I can't wait for the game.
I am very excited for the Valkyria Chronicles demo.
I agree about the jackass part, but if you knew more about the teammate he was yelling at, then you wouldn't care about his feelings being hurt.
By the time negotiations would be finished, and then the time required to make a decent port... the game wouldn't even be out until 2010, so who cares if Xbox 360 owners get it. It will be old news for PS3 owners by then, and then it lets 360 owners try this wonderful game.
