MGO doesn't have all the glitches Gears multiplayer has. And just because you don't like the gameplay style doesn't mean it's bad. Yes, I like Gears multiplayer more, but MGO is a lot of fun.
The weird thing is that Slayer was in Guitar Hero 3 so I don't see why there should be any hesitation to put them in there again.
I wouldn't agree, but at least he says his real opinion rather than just saying something to make Sony or his fan base happy.
Left 4 Dead does have one of the best single player stories of the year.
Lucky for Zelda Fanboys, you got Wii Fit and Wii Music this year.
This game just went a lot higher on my anticipation list.
I taste fear.
Is this the same God who disbarred you, Jack Thompson?
If I were to guess I would say around the end of March-April. As of right now I don't think anything has been announced on a UK release date, but I can't confirm that.
I am liking Mirror's Edge and Prince of Persia (neither are GOTY but I am glad I bought them). I can't comment on Dead Space because I don't really like to play horror games.
Giantbomb hasn't released their Game of the Year yet.
I won't buy it unless they make the thong version.
I didn't expect that when I clicked the link. It did have some pretty solid multiplayer though. I had fun screwing around with friends. Despite that though, I didn't enjoy the actual racing, I found myself spending just as much time looking for the best way to go on the minimap as I did on the road. Maybe I am just not the audience for an open world racer though.
I have no problem with Gears 2 or Dead Space winning, but I think Socom should have been nominated over pretty much all the other nominees. I think Gametrailers had a problem the first week getting on, and then never tried it again.
I think the most shocking statistic is that Left 4 Dead is all the way down at number 7.
I like the idea! I'd say one of the top 5 downloadable games this year.
I am going to post a slightly modified version of my comment from the Bonus Round on Gametrailers when the fanboy from Kotaku said 360 had the best year.
Fable 2 and Gears 2 were the only great exclusives this year, maybe Banjo but I haven't tried it.
But, what about Left 4 Dead!? If it's exclusive to the 360 then why do I own it on PC.
PS3:
Metal Gear Solid 4
Little Big Planet
Resistance 2
Motorstorm
Valkyria Chronicles
While the Nintendo Janitors wipe their *** with 100 dollar bills.
Hmmmm, considering Crash Commando... Soldat was pretty fun. I want my Lumines though!
I need to get Fallout 3 out of my pile of shame.
