Sure they could have delayed it, but having all the traffic helped them more quickly find out what they needed to do to fix the game.
Assuming you aren't score whores, this is definitely what should be done. Many people may look at reviews as a way to tell if they should buy a game, and if 1up feels it is a much better game right now, then they have every right to say so. Whether or not they should change the score is irrelevant because who gives a **** what the score is. Read the stupid reviews for once.
Maybe for you. I won't be "moving on" ever. I may not play it as much as I do now, but I will certainly keep checking in for the new hit levels.

Well I haven't played this game, but it looks like it might be a little more run and gun like CoD, so I don't think it would work that well anyway.
This comment made me smile.
Selling levels will be an epic fail. Most people aren't going to pay for some level they will only play a couple of times before moving on to see what other people have made.

Every time I see more of this game I get really excited, but I can't help but think in the back of my mind that this will probably fail.

I stopped reading when they said the Wraith was the best weapon... seriously? Are you playing the same game as me?
One thing some people should keep in mind while getting mad at Gamespot for taking a whole .5 points off the game is, Gamespot grades on a .5 scale.
Why are people treating this as a bad review. The actual text is very positive and further increases my hype of the game. If a sub AAA score is going to ruin your excitement for the game then maybe you should rethink your reason for gaming.

Well I am going to be selfish and say I don't care. I have a 160 gig hard drive, but they should try to find a way to help people with crap drives.
The score is good, but it didn't matter what the score was because throughout the whole review I was drooling.
Quite possibly the best voice acting I have ever heard in my life.
