At least try to be clever. The "pubic hair caught in a ps3" stories after E3 were clever, this is not.
I think both 3D and motion controls are the last grasps at attention from an industry on the decline. Instead of focusing on ways to make games cheaper and therefore getting into more peoples homes, they're doing a complete 180 and focusing on expensive gimmicks that only a select few will get to enjoy. Gaming seems to buck the trend of technologies getting cheaper and more efficient, every scheme they come up with makes it more expensive. Until they find ways to make it cheaper and slow ...
I'd say something like Dragon Age 2 or Arkham City already have much more GotY potential than a bunch of shooters IMO.
We'd like to think that lol but all the posters on n4g, gamefaqs, etc probably don't even equal 1% of the game buyers out there.
i don't know why you got a disagree, heres the original game-

Maybe the phantom disagreer thinks GoW invented violence. *shrug*
It's not a bad game, it simply felt too linear and narrow for my tastes. I would have liked to see larger and more open battlefields so I can employ some real tactics.
I don't know about other people but I really like the idea of decisions from one game carrying over into another. I wish more developers would do this, it gives the games tremendous replay value. I wouldn't mind the "sequel-itis" the industry is infected with if there were more things like this. I think more gamers would hold onto their games longer too if the earlier installments of a series affected the rest. Personally I'm holding onto my copies of M.E. and D.A. so I ...
Cliffbo, I seem to remember the same strategy being used when it came to a certain blu-ray enabled console. It ended up working, didn't it? Nobody can predict the future, we've just gotta wait and see with almost everything.
Too much color, needs moar charcoal gray and black. :p
That's a couple anecdotes about the dangers of video game addiction. Need I link to the myriad of real life-destroying addictions such as gambling, drugs, or alcohol?
I really like that picture, I hope they use it for the cover art.
Extreme violence is the hallmark of the Splatterhouse series.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind. You've just gotta believe!
Anybody who doesn't see the blatant wii influence in the move simply doesn't WANT to see it. Anybody can tell you how similar they are.
I agree, especially considering how painfully dull some of them were. I like Dragon Age but man, the constant back&forth back&forth of the dwarf missions in particular drove me nuts. That recruitment ship has sailed and Bioware needs some fresh storytelling methods.
Part of me was wondering what was up with the lack of a sub controller but then I realized it's kinda like MS keeping the kinect/controller integration hush-hush because it breaks the "this is all you need" illusion.
The only thing that truly matters is the price tag on the box.
Imo they've gotta release it for $400 or under, I don't think they can afford to repeat their mistakes.
It would fill an obvious gap in the ps360 libraries, outside of Darksiders there aren't really any adventure games.
I have my biases but I try not to show them by not posting about things I have no interest in. If I really truly hated a console or game, why would I even waste my proverbial breath on it? I usually have at least 1 genuinely postive thing about pretty much every console or game I've ever played. Maybe something like Kinect isn't for me but I'm not going to outright call it s**t, I've never used it so how would I know?
Sorry if I'm a tad too neutral for som...
Have some respect. Much like Al Bundy and his 4 touchdowns in a single game, this Donkey Kong high score is all Billy has. Let him enjoy it.
