Except in his case, his is the ranting of someone affected with paranoid delusions. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.
There was a team behind him. Devil's Third is a result of his "genius" without any of those folk backing him up.
At last the world is starting to realize how much of a lunatic this man is. I think that Koei saw that the rot had set into his brain before the rest of us, which is why they cut him loose.
I think the bigger issue is that he drugged his GF. What sort of sociopath does that? Did it occur to any of you that maybe he has a problem if he's playing video games to such an extent that he feels the need to incapacitate those who interfere with his "fix"?
That people are glossing over or ignoring what he's done and saying crap like "maybe she's not the one for him...", is reprehensible. Examine your priorities. Seriously. I like video ga...
This hyped the you-know-what outta me.
That's factually incorrect. There are more games, exclusive or otherwise, on PS4 than on any other current gen platform. I don't know how this rumour got started, other than by bitter, deluded Xbox fans.
@Lightning, between the larger install base, purchasing habits of PS gamers, and "potential" timed exclusivity (not to mention the history of the game on PS consoles), it might as well be a full exclusive. No one will buy it on X1, especially not in Japan.
SE could also mean PC.
Obviously no, since 99% of all E3 stage demos are on PC (with an Xbox controller hooked up), unless otherwise, and clearly, stated. When's the last time you saw a PC keyboard and mouse using stage demo at E3? Think about it.
It really isn't if you've been following the absurdly sensational DX12 news-bytes.
Game was known and announced as "cancelled" circa 2011.
Eurogamer article, here:

I'm not sure how the game is "long awaited", when it was announced as having been cancelled.
"I'd rather my console crashes every 5 minutes, wipes my data and/ or has another catastrophic failure."
Said no one ever. My Lord, people complain about everything these days. You want annoying updates? Own an iOS product. Updates take forever and each one is near guaranteed to BREAK compatibility with a piece of software on the device.
Proper translation: "First great exclusive that Xbox fanboys must admit exists".
*Indies, ports, PC/ PS4 exclusives and all other games that do not conform to personal tastes may still be excluded.
P.S. Sarcasm aside, I rather enjoyed inFamous. Order is a solid 7 to me. Shame they didn't do more with the setting and world. FFXIV also plays pretty decently on PS4 compared to my SLI 780 version I sometimes swap to.
You realize Phil was an instrumental part of the Xbox brand that conceived the original, hideous design (not physical, though that's ugly, too) of the X1? I doubt he just sat on his hands for the last few years of the 360's life, either, and I'm sure he had a role to play with Kinect. So two things no one really wanted, and he's present and in a position of power and influence for each, and somehow, he's not culpable?
C'mon.
Selective memory an...
Off the top of my head, and only the ones I'm interested in/ remember: Deep Down, Dragon's Dogma Online, Persona 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Kingdom Under Fire, YS, SF V, PS exclusive Indies (which are really just AA, mid-tier studios these days)...
I doubt we'll see less 3rd party exclusives, when we're already seeing more for Sony's platform. It'll be a return to the PS2 days, where the console with the largest marketshare gets the most games. That's...
Or maybe reviews don't matter as much as the internet wants to pretend that they do?
The only reason why the Vita gets outsold by the 3DS is because Sony (stupidly) didn't pay for Monster Hunter exclusivity. Otherwise, the Vita would have had a very different trajectory.
Who knows? Maybe Sony will pony up the $ for a MH Vita/ PS4 considering they've been bedfellows with Capcom as of late.
I don't think that Gribble ever held that opinion. I certainly didn't. One of my last posts on N4G was about how irrelevant reviewers had become in mirroring popular opinion. And here we are.
The Order should sell well enough to warrant a sequel. Haters be damned.
People keep saying this "PS4 has no good exclusives" mantra as if it matters, or is in any way true, and nearly each and every month the console outsells all of its competitors. What is selling the console then? LSD induced mania? Sorcery? 'Gaming journalists' need to wake up and check themselves, their fear-mongering does not reflect popular, consumer opinion.
I wouldn't be surprised if we get a press release in the next few weeks trumpeting one or tw...
@strago Well, that too, I suppose. I was actually referring to his attacks against journalists who recently previewed (and loled at) his masterpiece. "They just weren't skillful enough", or something to that effect.
