For me, I could care less of cross-game chat, I want the party feature. All I care about is having all my friends in a voice lobby so we can all hear each other and none of the douche bags in the main lobby.
At first I didn't agree with a friendly seeing someone and it shows up on your screen as them being flagged but after reading up on some of the technology the US Army has, well, it's accurate.
The best thing is the release of deus ex starts the launch of a slew of AAA games from this tuesday through November. There is almost 1 game a week coming out for 12 weeks. In some cases 2 even 3 in one day.
I see what you are trying to say, Yi-Long but a master chef charges a lot more for his creations than McDonalds. In this case, the games are the same price. I would never eat Mcdonalds burgers and always eat a Kobe beef gourmet burger but I am poor. Mcdonalds = $6 lunch, Kobe Beef Gourmet = $60 lunch.
It should be similar to Big Ben. A whole series of chimes and bells followed by a big BONG.
Thats a cool idea. Like Turok meets Oblivion.
Call of What?
And rainbow 6 games. And ghost recon games.
Actually, each person has their preference. For me, it depends on what my friends are playing and on what console. I love PS exclusives. I also love LIVE and the party feature.
In all honesty I just wait to see what multiplat looks best on and then get it for that console when it comes to deciding between the two. Also, I have to factor in wear and tear. I game a lot. If I bought all the upcoming games this year for one system it would probably die on me by Thanksgiving. I m...
Yeah, I think that is cheap. I really hate that "Hard" mode means the enemies are just bulletproof or I have less health. That's cheap.
Hard mode should have things that the other modes do not have. Extra sequences in boss fights, a new enemy that is hard to kill. Even so much as extra length to maps so you have to go farther. That, to me, would constitute a "hard" mode.
Scarecrow levels were really awesome. I do hope they have more in AC.
The end of that level on Veteran was insane. I found a little ticket booth and went prone in it the whole time. After, oh, 2 hours I finally got past it.
@parapraxis. Thanks, for the vid, mate. Bubs!
EDIT: Wow. That looked like the most generic FPS I have ever seen.
I used to love COD but after playing the crap out of MW I just got bored with it. Great game for those who like to still play it but I just went through my GameQ on GameFly and holy crap there are a lot of games coming out.
I enjoy SP more, anyway unless is innovative MP like Demon's Souls or team based like the old rainbow 6. So, I am going to get Battlefield but in all honesty, once Skyrim drops I will disappear forever.
Bachelor pad, 145 hours vacation time banked at work and Chinese delivery FTW!!!!
I have to say that Rainbow 6 Vegas was the best MP for a shooter I have ever played. Being in control of your own lobby, dedicated servers, the teamwork involved, man I spent hundreds of hours playing that game.
Demon's Souls I feel is the most innovative. I really look forward to Dark Souls to see if they made it even better. Man, I hope I can invite friends into my room.
@finbars You know, I am on the fence about bodycount. That whole "left trigger plants you in place thing" kind of worries me. I'm sure it will be fine but I am waiting to see some game play vids of it first.
Thanks for pointing it out, though. bubbles!
Ahh, one of my most proudest moments. InFamous 1 and the shard collection. I nearly went mad. Sucks the devs cheesed out and gave you a shard finder in the second one. I was hoping for more punishment.
Well, I view collectors additions the same. I could care less about figurines and statues and whatnot. I just want to play the game. Some people, though, love them so good for them.
The list goes on. Some people spend real money for their avatars in HOME/LIVE. Why? It does nothing for you.
To each their own. For me, I only trophy/achievement hunt for games I really enjoy and warrant a second or third play though. I like the set challenge and sense of accomp...
Not cross game chat, party feature. If I have five friends all playing battlefield BC2 and we all want to talk and hear each other without listening to the idiots in the main lobby, you propose we all set up a conference call and set our phones on speaker? What a pain!
