I don't agree. I view my trophy collection the same as I do my library. I keep all books I have read and have shelves of them. Do they still serve a practical purpose? No. Do I enjoy just looking at them and reliving the fond memories? Absolutely.
And the best thing is once Deus Ex drops in a week there is an awesome game coming out pretty much every week or so thereafter for 2 and a half months! Some days even have 2 or 3 games coming out same day.
My most anticipated titles:
Skyrim
Resistance 3
Dark Souls
Deus Ex
Rage
Uncharted 3
Gears of War 3
Ratchet and Clank All 4 One
Battlefield 3
Batman AC
Assassin's Creed: Reva...
Rainbow 6 Black Arrow. I still have Cafe and Airport maps burned into my mind. And slow walking...good times.
I cannot agree more. I wander the land like Cain and a week later bump into a NPC who talks about the main quest starting.
Ahh, the first time I played Oblivion...coming out of the sewer and crapping my pants when I saw the night sky...
The first Fable was awesome. The 2nd, OK. The last installment was an abortion and no I do not mean a good abortion.
Amen, brotha. I only kill when I have to (except guards in Oblivion when bored) but I take anything not nailed down.
My biggest gripe is the hardest setting ones. I don't want enemies just to have more stamina to be considered "nightmare" mode. That's stupid.
If a game has extra stuff that is challenging then I would be happy to play on the nightmare mode. Instead of just making guys bulletproof, throw in some enemies that are NOT in the normal setting. Totally separate enemies not seen before. Make it unique. Don't just make my health less potent or fewer ammo cases. ...
I don't think I've ever played a game in which they had different trophies from the 360 counterpart.
Terminator: Salvation. You can plat it in about 3.5 hours.
Demon's Souls was number one on the list.
Agreed. Those damn triangle chimes still make me shiver thinking about them.
Well, if it's 50 gold to fast travel that will be no big deal. Since I steal everything not nailed down, by the middle of the game I am the Bill Gates of Tamriel.
I get what you are saying, though.
I did the same thing! Then I would go to Imperial City, attack guards then run to the water and as they tried to swim to me I would just jump up and down and slice them with my sword.
The wait for this game is killing me.
@kaveti Well, I rented Hunted Demon's Forge and it looked like ass. This looks at least better than that.
With all due respect, that looked better than half the games that have been released in the last couple years.
OK, that's just awesome.
The wait is killing me.
@ape. I respectfully disagree. I do feel they are close but the clincher for me is the textures in UC2. Man, when you are on the missions up in the mountains it is a sight to behold.
Loved Crysis 2, BTW
Agreed. Would immediately purchase the game again to go for the plat, which you know damn well would be tough as all hell to get. Can you imagine what Kojima would make some of them be?
Secret Snake/Gold : Play entire game and do not be detected once.
Slithering Snake/Silver: Beat every level without standing up once.
LMAO. I can only imagine.
