Whenever an enemy player defeats you, you're also shown which Star Cards they have equipped. In my case I've faced several players that already have Epic Star Cards, yet my team and I are able to win matches despite facing buffed players.

As I've said before, teammates working together and supporting each other is more decisive than Star Cards. It won't matter if you have Epic Health Regeneration if you walk right into three or four people working together a...

Farewell, doctor.

Big corporations like EA may step back for now... but they're learning. They'll adapt and evolve, and come up with new tactics to maximize profits.

Those celebrating the removal of BF II's microtransactions may not realize that now the game will sell a lot more, and that the MTs will come back to it eventually, since the removal was temporary.

It's a PR move. Now more people may buy the game, some perhaps thinking that the MTs are gone forever. Researching isn't a lot of people's forte, some people just read headlines and that's it.

One game to rule them all. So much for the microtransaction controversy.

Yes, the game is freaking awesome and the loot boxes really are completely optional, they don't affect the game balance at all. Not once did I feel like I needed to buy loot boxes, not even with in-game money, to progress through the game. Already got the platinum, the only loot box I opened was one for giving a captain a gang.

EA has had a terrible reputation since many years ago, and yet they're still going. Each controversy just makes the current game they're marketing better known. The press and youtubers you're thanking in the end all they did was give SWBFII free publicity. Bad publicity in the end is still publicity.

The BF2 controversy in the end will just get it more publicity.

They reduced duplicate rates in recent updates.

In the last 30 loot boxes or so I've opened, I've gotten just around 3 duplicates.

They're experienced in getting around issues like this. Just ask China and its recent loot box laws:

I've read that, instead of a big fine or a total ban, companies like Blizzard and EA could just need to get a special permission to continue selling their games (apparently still with loot boxes in them) in Belgium... assuming that the Belgian authorities don't simply say that they don't consider loot boxes gambling and dismiss the whole issue.

Also, in the event the loot boxes were considered gamgbling, it could also set a precendent for other groups demanding ...

Wow, an actually temperate, measured opinion on the game and its features. Awesome.

In my personal experience, working together with your teammates, supporting each other, is what weighs the most in determining victory. I've been in teams that work together and accomplish objectives quickly... and I've been in others were the members of the squad you're assigned to when respawning run in different directions, apparently all of them thinking they can take the ent...

Endless Siege will be nice.
Rebellion sounds interesting.
Enhanced Photo Mode will be entertaining.
Online Pit Fights sure will be high risk and high reward.
Brutal Difficulty? Even harder than Nemesis Difficulty? Wow.

(Part 2)

Remember that equipping red or green gems on your Ring can boost your followers' attack and health respectively. Get a high level gem of the color of your choosing and equip it on your Ring to boost your army.

Another hint: remember to equip white gems in your Hood and Armor, in order to boost the experience you get in your activities. Equip the most valuable gems you can get and make, with Level 5 gems on both Hood and Armor you can get up t...

(Part 1)

Actually Act 4 eventually becomes easier as you learn how to manage your army. I only lost three out of the twenty sieges across the ten stages (And one of my defeats was due to a glitch). Here's some advice for anyone who may be interested:

You don't need to recreate your whole army in every stage of the Shadow Wars. Sometimes I could start the next siege defense with the exact same lineup from the previous siege.

I just played four hours of the game, two in Galactic Assault and two in the Single Player. During the two hours of multiplayer I got around 7,300 Credits, and then 750 more thanks to the Free Daily Loot Box, and after that, 4,000 more after I claimed some rewards I had unlocked by completing certain challenges. The campaign so far has been interesting and varied in gameplay. And yes the game is awesome.

Bring on the downvotes, manchildren.

As much as I want to believe this, I'll wait for an official confirmation.

Of course they have. The manchildren need to feel they're accomplishing something, and something as pathetic and meaningless as negatively reviewing a game they haven't played themselves is the best they can do.

Sorry, manchildren. Everything looks well for SWBF2: Released close to the holidays AND the new movie, big marketing campaign, more content at launch than BF1, free major DLCs, story that bridges Episodes VI and VII... the idea of it flopping just due to mic...

So if people support big, microtransaction-happy companies like EA or WB, it's bad... but if they instead support smaller indie developers... that's also bad?
