Games, just like any other piece of media/art, can carry social/political commentary and critique if their creators want them to. If one disagrees with said games, one can simply choose to not buy them.
Denying game creators the right to comment on anything if they wish to would be censorship, plain and simple.
Starchild? Eek, getting some Mass Effect 3 PTSD flashbacks here...
Now, a serious comment: It looks interesting. Apparently the MC can send their spirit/soul/psychic projection to affect the environment.
The Plumber's vengeance will be swift and merciless. Bayek better watch out.
Excellent. It'll be nice to have a great JRPG on the go.
Interesting... what could have been, indeed.
For a long time Ancient India has been ignored in games. Nice to see more people making games about it.
It came out the same day as Super Mario Odyssey and AC Origins. It's going to be an uphill battle for Wolfenstein 2.
...Okay, that was simple but creepy. I assume it's a game mode where a counselor is the killer and the other players must find out who he or she is. Basically, a whodunit mode.
LOL Snake's Japanese voice actor is working in this game too? Awesome.
This... uh... is quite interesting, actually.
The actual article has a frontal image of her, and I can confirm that they're pushing the waifu angle in this game. Well, as long as the game is good, fine by me.
Well... those costumes for the ladies really are something else.
My ambition (for this game) cannot be stopped! Long live Lord Cao Cao!
It... kind of makes sense. People have different ideas on what kind of horror they like. Some may be fine with jumpscares, and others may not find them entertaining at all. Others may like horror games where you can only run and hide, while some may prefer horror games where you can fight back.
What went wrong? Overwatch already existed.
I know why the Quarians are missing: they had to take a rest because their faces were too tired.
LOL JK The lack of Quarians in MEA was disturbing, they're a series staple alongside the Asari, Turians and Krogans.
Well, this explains why the Bruz quests sometimes wouldn't show up.
Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
In other news, water is wet. It seems that developers and corporations have found a sweet spot regarding microtransactions. As long as they don't push too far, there'll be a balance.
Well, as long as we can progress through the game without having to buy microtransactions, fine. I just finished Shadow of War's Act IV today, getting the true ending / epilogue, and I didn't have to spend a single real dollar on any loot box.
And yes, previous AC games have had microtransactions before, and they didn't hinder my progress through Black Flag or Syndicate.
Did you read my mind?! Right now I'm skimming through this comment section, reading just the comments with plenty of downvotes.
But yes, getting downvotes in this site, at least in articles like this, seems to be a badge of honor.
Don't forget that Famitsu also rated Umbrella Corps, the worst Resident Evil game ever made, a 36/40... I want to believe that Sonic Forces is great, yet I'll wait for more reviews. Let's hope that Famitsu is right this time.
