And they cut it again to 15,000. Some people claim they have unlocked heroes after just a few hours of playing, and I think that not all heroes cost the same, plus there are several ways to get credits, I think you even get credits just for logging in daily. I'll find out on my own in a few hours after I finish downloading the day 1 update.
Gladly!
Right now I'm downloading the day 1 patch. Wow, it's a hefty 8 GB whopper... but I'm a patient, adult man, I can wait 5-6 hours until it's ready. I wonder how many loot boxes are in those 8 GB, LOLZ.
I just called my local game store and they have the Elite version available. I'm going to withdraw some cash from a local ATM and then I'm going to buy it. AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I appreciate the support.
That however seems to be just for the story campaign. I guess that EA wanted to prevent players from just replaying the campaign over and over to win easy credits... assuming that earning credits through the campaign can be done more than once. Other sources claim that you can still earn credits by playing Multiplayer, which we can assume is what most people who are interested in Credits will be playing. You can even earn credits just by logging in once a day, according to the following sourc...

This article should be udated. They already stated something about it:
Hero Unlock costs are not reduced for review copies. The photos that have been circulating were from an earlier build:

Also, EA reduced the Hero Unlock costs by 75%:

Cool. Guess I'll get it this friday if reviews are positive.
Disagreeing with business practices one finds dishonest or scummy? Okay.
Sending death threats? Get a life, kids.
All the outrage over SWBF2 is similar to the one over Shadow of War: lots of children and manchildren will whine about it on the Internet, yet in the end the game's quality and content will be the one that decides whether it fails or not.
Every creator has the right to design their characters as they see fit for the story they're creating.
If they want them all to be cute and/or hot, as in the case of Persona or Growlanser, let them. If they want them to be more realistic and less sexualized, as in the case of Horizon Zero Dawn or Reboot Tomb Raider, let them.
If you don't like their products, don't buy them. Imagine the outrage if they redesigned Aloy to be more "kawaii...
I'll wait for other reviews. I remember a "reviewer" who outright lied about everything in Shadow of War being blocked behind paywalls (I even got the Platinum Trophy without having to spend a single extra dollar) and claiming that other players could kill your orcs and wreck your fortress, ruining your game, while you're not playing... something that can never occur, as your online fortress is separate from your single player fortress.
Awesome. Thanks for posting.
Well, guess I'll focus on the other game modes: Galactic Assault. Strike, Blast and Starfighter Assault. As I play and have fun with the game I'll unlock characters for Hero Vs Villains.
Maybe that means that more major DLCs will become free for all... and microtransactions consisting of XP/Cash boosts, cosmetics and the like will become more common. Cool, I guess, as long as the MTs aren't required to finish the game. Shadow of War handled it well.
This sure looks tempting...
Preorder confirmed.
Her design sure looks interesting. If one day I play KoF again, I'll try her out.
Let's hope it holds well.
Well, I wish them luck in their project. I hope everything fares well for them.
