Not bad... not bad at all.
Not everyone who speaks in favor of the game can be in EA's pocket. I've played the game since release week and it's good. Yes, it's a shame that the character progression is mostly randomized due to the loot boxes, and the campaign while not terrible it's not that memorable either. The Star Cards don't offer that many advantages over other players, working together with your team is the most important for deciding victory. Connection is stable, I've barely had any...
The Force is strong with Han's beard.
Go Go Dynasty Warriors!
I just googled and yes, Battlefield 4 also had the option of paying for "Shortcut Kits" to instantly unlock weapons, vehicles and stuff:

8/10 is a fair rating in my opinion. The single player isn't terrible but it's not too memorable either. Multiplayer is great, working together with your team is what really determines victory (Pray you don't get stuck with teammates that all run in different directions upon spawning, all thinking that they can take the entire enemy team on their own).
Looks interesting. I hope it goes well for them.
The game's actually pretty good. If it weren't for all the loot box debacle, more people could see that the multiplayer's great... but the campaign could have been much better.
Such as...? I've played it daily since November 14 and the worst I've had is a bit of lag once in a while when running. Only one disconnect so far.
Well, so much for the "We're winning! Take that EA!" chants.
"Now, before you head to the comments to fight over the best waifu between Riley and Kai..." Huh. They know their audience.
This will be an interesting game.
If government start regulating games, it could eventually lead to censorship. Some people have for decades blamed videogames for promoting violence and other negative behaviors. Admitting that loot boxes and microtransactions are influencing people into becoming addicted to gambling is also claiming that games really can influence the behavior and mental development of individuals. Why should only gambling in gaming be regulated, and not also contents that to some may promote violence, sexual...
If anyone out there hasn't gotten Overwatch yet, this is their chance.
Sorry EA. You pushed too much and now people are pushing back.
Uh oh. EA sure opened a Pandora's Box. Wonder how all this will turn out.
Tetsuo Hara: You are already hyped.
Fans: Nani? *BOOOOM!*
Awesome. Well-deserved... I should get back to this game, I haven't really played it much... but so far what I've played has been great.
It may not mean the end of microtransactions. Instead of selling loot boxes, they may just sell in-game cash to purchase the desired items. Blizzard already did something like that in China:

Actually the Shadow Wars get easier as one progresses through them since if you experiment you learn of ways to strengthen your Captains and get huge amounts of experience per siege/fortress retaken, allowing Talion to level up. It's a long act, but loot boxes can't really skip the stages, you still have to do them... and the game lets you get lots of in-game money to buy loot boxes if you really want them, and you can get more by doing Online activities.
No offense, but... how is this a surprise? For years many meals and snacks aimed at children have had an element of chance regarding prizes. Here in Mexico, the Sabritas snacks (Our equivalent of Lay's) nearly always feature "tazos", small discs themed after a popular movie or cartoon such as Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Despicable Me, Star Wars, The Simpsons and more. Likewise cereals, cookies and other snacks have featured random prizes such stickers and cards for a long time.
