The average consumer doesn't really care about MTs, in my opinion the main reason why BF2 had lower sales in its first weeks was mainly the fact that it debuted two weeks after the juggernaut that is Call of Duty WWII. Heck, it made #2 in some places on its debut week I think, hardly a flop even if it didn't meet EA's initial sales expectations.

Personally, I think that when a game features nudity is just pandering to people's morbidity, similar to how certain animes/mangas like Fairy Tail try to compensate terrible writing with fanservice everywhere. That the new GoW cuts away such a "traditional element" implies that the game designers truly believe in the game they're making.
