Exactly.
No thanks. Leave SEGA be.
Sony both profits plenty and has plenty of cash on hand. This is a $115B company before we even touch assets.
As for cloud — that remains to be seen where things are headed.
"Sony makes fun of MS's ideas and then copies them"
Really? Put up or shut up. Show where this happened.
But but but Sony™........... irrelevant. Point Microsoft IS in this position, and as a result, are trying to buy whomever they can. It's exactly why we have (and need) regulators.
Nope. Leave SEGA right where they are. Last thing they need is any acquisition by anyone.
Nintendo and PlayStation continue to have a rock-solid year!
"Sony's acting like a child". Really? Why would they allow that on their platform when they have a competing service of their own?
"Valve is acting like a child. They won't allow Epic Games on Steam" — yes, that sounds ridiculous.
"The only people left out are PS5 owners". Yeah. CoD's biggest audience is on PlayStation. There is no "relatively" anything. The biggest Call of Duty group is PlayStation user...
How many multiplatform IPs has Sony made exclusive?
Sony creates IPs with studios they already work with (Bungie being the outlier, and Destiny remains multiplatform).
Not a comparison working in your favor.
What was wrong with inFAMOUS Second Son? There's one prerendered trailer (when it was first unveiled) on the engine, but the final game looked like all previous gameplay footage. There were filter changes, but the art was spot on. Certainly not a downgrade and nothing close to "unappealing" from the E3 2013 build.

Agreed.
Exactly. Gotta love this hyperbolic nonsense. And, it’s ALWAYS like this when something good happens for Xbox. Like there’s validation needed in Subway wrap of an inferiority complex.
Nintendo and Sony don't have issues releasing games, though. It rests squarely on Microsoft to get more games out than a yearly Forza, the occasional Gears or Halo, and bad games like Crackdown 3 and Redfall.
Starfield is a step in the right direction, but they need much more than that to prove that they get it.
You really need to be told the difference between buying a publisher and paying a 3rd party company for an exclusive that has the potential to see the light of day on other consoles?
@Tedakin
How did those games sell next to Sony's AAA releases?
Like clockwork. They have a decent show and now all of a sudden, Redfall is forgotten and PlayStation's dominance (which will continue, of course) is somehow how "in jeopardy" (just game releases, never mind anything else which they, as usual, ignore). I've said it before — Xbox cheerleaders are the architects of hyperbole.
I was just stating that just having a capability on a box doesn’t mean everything is being advertised that way. Sony is not guilty of overpromising with PS5.
Microsoft simply has to weather the storm. No, they didn’t say all games would run 4K/60, but they boasted it would be the system to do it more often than not. Not everyone is on PC like you and I, so people are going to be more critical, it makes sense.
In any case, this has been the most reasonab...
The PS5 is capable of running games in 8K, so that wasn't false advertising. Plus, they didn't sing the tune of it like Microsoft did with the Series X and 4K/60fps. It's easy for more savvy folks like me to know the deal, but that doesn't change that I'm a minority and folks listened to the chest beating.
So, they cannot back out of it now. They made this claim and Starfield is the biggest exclusive on the Series consoles to date. At the same time, beca...
Crazy to see folks disagree with that too. People actually cheerlead taking SEGA from their current spot to a consolidated one, particularly THIS company. It's insane!
