There isn't a "complaint" of Sony not acquiring Activision (silly anyway, since there are plenty of pubs they could buy). They don't because they don't need to. Only Microsoft is in this position (clearly unable to take both Nintendo and Sony on their own terms — 1st Party content).
@Obscure_Observer
You are the last person anyone should listen to in this discussion. Really. Outside of Redfall, you will excuse anything Microsoft does as okay and great and everything Sony does as "bad".
Spare me and move on. I couldn't care less today for your complete bullshit!
By skipping Switch, perhaps.
I haven’t seen a more apples-to-pickles comparison in a good while. For starters, buying WHOLE PUBLISHERS TO RECEIVE THE BIGGEST 3RD PARTY GAME OUT THERE is far from paying for exclusivity on one game, particularly one that would sell most of its stock on Sony’s platform anyway.
This is what happens when you chase gotchas and STILL end up wrong.
Also, for those who don’t read:
“ Final Fantasy, being one of Square Enix’s very important f...
Exactly!
Repeating yourself? As you have been doing the last 48 hours? Feeling victimized because the company/device you prefer isn’t being praised to high heaven?
That’s what I got from you.
Someone didn't read.
And FFXVI is going to be pretty dope, yup, but bigger than Spider-Man? Not even close.
It was approved to bother you. We know...
OT: "Last chance"? Perhaps not, but it needs to at least be a homerun!
Then why are you still here? The answer is to leave.
Right. It’s an exaggerated statement. And not every Xbox fan went through it.
Besides, if you were here during the PS3 days, it was ANYTHING BUT a safe space for PlayStation fans.
Thank you for listening!
You have examples that this was the case before?
@darthv72
You’re missing the point. It’s not about the bubble system. Yes, it was inefficient. The sentiment that troublemakers should be thwarted from causing problems is what people are saying.
Bubbles, not particularly, but a way to reign in on certain behaviors.
Agreed. Certain users run rampant and are huge troublemakers and leashing that, I feel, would help a ton!
That said, I respect N4G’s decisions in design, just as a feedback point, I dread to think what giving those particular sorts of users an additional 20 comments will mean for the future!
“I don’t need a PS5”.
We know. Yet here you are telling us this - as if anyone expects you to be impartial to, or inclusive of, PlayStation.
I highly doubt they’re worried about Xbox.
You must have missed E3 2015 and 16. Beyond that, it’s a show. They don’t need to have a whole lot. Release dates will have a far bigger impact than a presentation.
They desperately need a system seller? As in Sony? If so, you clearly you haven’t been watching the numbers.
