Actually, I believe the OP is right. Most of the recent (relatively) lego games have come out on the DS, 3DS, and Vita, meaning both the Vita and 3DS were getting games created so that they could run on the original DS. However, this obviously won't be the case with this game.
Hopefully the controls just take some getting used to. Based on what I've read, their doesn't appear to be many alternatives due to the Vita's low number of buttons. I really wish they had made the analogs clickable.
Hopefully they can smooth it out a little bit more before release. I've really been looking forward to this, so I would hate to see it run terrible.
I would prefer for them to not focus on any one character again. The year of Luigi thing kinda annoyed me.

I just hope it includes local ad-hoc. All this Wifi only multiplayer kind of defeats the purpose of a portable system.

Is this just that picture that was pulled off the box for the Vita bundle? If so, it's kinda hard to say whether or not it's actually what the game will look like.
As someone who primarily is a hand-held gamer (I enjoy games on hand-held consoles, not games that "hold your hand"), this was my reaction as well.

Nobody thinks this game will be the Vita's saving grace. It should be a fun game that, if done right, should manage to sell decently well.

I'm not sure what you mean by "these games" Freedom wars is a completely different genre than this.
@Karrbomb (not sure what to think of that username...) None of that stuff matters if Denver doesn't execute it properly. Sure Seattle earned this one, but, lets face it; that was the worst game that Denver has played all season.
