Actually, it happening on day 1 basically proves that it is a glitch in the game, not hackers.
I've been following this story a little, and I'm pretty sure it's mostly just fear mongering. There doesn't actually appear to be any confirmed cases of this happening via WonderTrade. Take this story with a grain of salt.

It's gonna be stuff like signing up for PS+ that really get enough points to be worth anything.
These don't really make sense. The first one has to do with getting the game quicker, yet the last two won't work unless you wait a few months to get the game.
I think Pikachu's design is much better than Raichu, but I agree that a MegaPikachu wouldn't make any sense.

Exactly. It's crazy to think that we are talking about how great the system is selling when its first Pokemon game is still a few weeks out. IMO the 3DS's has the greatest lineup of games ever.
