3DS is not doing as well as hoped and therefore handheld gaming is dead. WHAT?
Someones been awfully naughty lately.
I know it can be annoying, but does it really matter? The point of N4G is to inform, not gain popularity.
A car wreck? No. The cause of many wrecks because people enjoy it so much the refuse to put it down while thier driving? Yes.
I wonder if that will require 3G?
Ya they had said the PS3 version could interact with the Vita but now it looks like it will be a full game.
I'm usually going to be playing around a wifi hotspot anyway so it really doesnt matter to me.
Maybe after TGS we can add a Monster Hunter logo to that picture.
The article isn't claiming these were supposed to be the gamescom titles. It says "An anonymous source has leaked what appears to be a complete list of games in development for the PlayStation Vita, most of which were probably to be announced today at Gamescom." Not all of them being announced doesn't mean it's not real.
I'm still hoping to see some new Dragon's Crown gameplay.
The Vita really hasn't been shown at any major events in Japan. I'm guessing we will be seeing a lot of currently announced launch titles when TGS rolls around next month.
Phanasy Star Victory anyone?
Isn't it funny how the analysts who predicted it would be like $400 are now saying $250 is too expensive?
Most people who actually use handhelds a lot are going to want the system they can get the most out of. The cheaper price on the 3DS makes it look like a cheaper system. Vita will also have the advantage of being the newest handheld by almost a year, which will help to make it look like the better system.
The whole "more games ready at launch theory" really doesnt make that much since. Why release it in Japan this year if there aren't enough games? Especially since NA will enjoy the currently announced games more than JP. Of course it is possible that there will be a system selling launch title in Japan that we dont know about yet...
So with the FCC thing passed if sony had enough vitas already made it would be ready to ship out tommorow but.... it's still gonna be another 6 monthes. Why must you tease us sony?
As much as I would love Nintendo to become a third party developer, its not happening. Not soon at least.
You write a post on a forum and then submit it as news? Seems a little odd to me.
No doubt in my mind that it will be a launch title.
And there I am going to have to respectfully disagree with you. While it does seem like a lot, you have to remember that it is about as powerful as any other console right now. I should also point out that it is not a "gaming only handheld." Sony has loaded this thing with all types of social features, not to mention the music and video player, and the cameras. My personal opinion; vita sales are going to shock analysts who are claiming that handheld gaming is dead.
