You have no way of determining that. You don't know how many people bought an X1 to play Halo 5, or Gears 4, or Quantum Break, or Crackdown 3 etc. And those people may still not have bought the console just waiting for there game to release. Or waiting for a deal and will buy it later.

Difference being that Alan Wake IP was owned by Remedy so they probably could have released it on PC after a certain time period if they wanted too. Could have had something to do with sales too.

You do realize this is an article saying the PC listing was false. Right ? The game hasn't been confirmed for PC. Just Xbox One. If it does come to PC it will likely be a year later. If all you wanna do is wait for games so ahead and as @DarkOcelot said there is plenty of other reasons to have the Xbox One.

I know Donkey Kong Country is owned by Nintendo, it's just a Rare game I'd love to see in their compilation collection. One of their best.

Besides Donkey Kong Country 1,2 and 3... I'd love to have seen Double Dragon added and as you said Conker: Live and Reloaded. They would have been great additions.
MS should reboot Conker and Battletoads like they did with Killer Instinct, there's tons of great IP's in Rare's library and they should take advantage of that. They've recently trademarked Jet Force Gemini, hope it's a sign of more to come.

Fair enough. I'm not gonna argue whether you liked the X1 games or not but seems rather subjective, you could hate all the games they had to offer and another could have loved em all. I personally bought my Xbox One for this years lineup of games.

On paper Xbox should be doing better than it is but the fact is that the xbox one launch rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and PlayStation was way more popular in these sorts of territories already to begin with. US and UK is the only places where xbox is well known...

Have you not seen next years lineup ? for both PS4 and Xbox One. And there has been plenty of new IP's from third party. Nothing wrong with Indies either and Remasters that make sense I'm fine with. Granted it has taken a while for the consoles to get started with exclusives and first party but that is the case at the start of a new generation of consoles. I don't think this generation has been disappointing. Just a slow start.
Doesn't matter to me. I play games on console, always have and always will... so whatever MS provide me I'll be playing on Xbox. Recore and Quantum Break have my interest especially. Between Playstation and Xbox, I'm gonna have no money left by the end of the year, great time to be a gamer.

Yes 100% this. Cyberpunk is totally underutilized in today's games, the only good one is Deus Ex but they have announced a new System Shock game and you got Mankind Divided in August, also CDProjectRed been working on Cyberpunk but who knows when that is coming out. But yes I'd love to see Kojima make an epic cyberpunk game.

Halo isn't going to sell 50m if you put it on PC, nor is any exclusive. And Most multipats don't sell over that much. GTA5 is the only game of note that did that (last gen) and that's because of multiple reasons like it was on both last and next gen and PC, it was at the end of last gen when the install base was at it's highest, plus Rockstar have a great reputation especially with the GTA series.
