It won't go anywhere unless people don't buy it.
I expect there to be much more content in the next game now that they have the engine up and running (which clearly what all their efforts went into). Hope there is a Campaign, Galactic Conquest, Space Battles, Prequel Era factions, more maps and heroes...
I also expect to see a space to ground like mode. Something like Rush/Walker Assault but it starts in Space, then moves onto ground battle. If there ...
I think it's a very important event for celebrating and recognizing the people behind games. My favorite moment was the Satoru Iwata tribute.
But it's an Awards Show. It's about celebrating the people in the industry, the people behind the games. To have their efforts recognized, that's why I like it. And that is why everyone was so pissed off that Hideo was banned by Konami cause people wanted to thank him.
It's not about all the announcements and such. Sure it's nice to have them. But the most important thing is to have the hard working passionate people behind the games efforts be recognized ...
That would be really cool. I got friends on both platforms that would love to have a go playing against one another... Xbox vs PlayStation :]
I don't think you can be a neutral gamer either but there is a difference between liking one platform more than the other (in other words being a "faboby")and being biased toward it.
Also I don't understand why there is such a negative connotation with being a fan of xbox or playstation or whatever. There is nothing wrong with it. I'm a DC fanboy, doesn't mean I dislike Marvel. I just like DC more.
You can like PC way more than cons...
I really like this game. Can't wait to play it with my friends on Xbox One.
I agree, I don't see Kojima going to MS either, just stating that their is a rumor going around that he will be collaborating with MS on Silent Hills. As @YinYangGaming said it was on The KindaFunnyGames Podcast.
The Rise of the Tomb Raider situation is not the same, that is a sequel intended to be multiplat (Sony are guilty of it to with SFV and Nintendo with Bayonetta 2)... it's unfortunately the result of costly games development, business etc. (and stupidity for t...
There is rumors indicating that he may be doing a collaboration with MS (with possibly Del Toro) on a Silent Hills like IP because MS tried to purchase it from Konami but they were asking for to much. I myself think he'll go independent and start his own studio. Fun to speculate and where ever he ends up it'll be a lot better than Konami...
I was thinking the same. Perhaps Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement ? I doubt it, that announcement would be more appropriate for E3 but I can dream.
Although Capcom have been very silent about Resident Evil 7, maybe they will finally break that silence. EA also have new games in the works... We'll see Thurday anyway.
Siege does actually have a pretty good MP, it's especially fun with friends but I agree they shouldn't have scrapped the SP of Patriots, that would have been a great addition to this game. I really liked the look of it too.
@jb227
So I can't take a company who so happens to have MS as a client at face value but it's somehow okay for everyone to take VGChartz at face value despite their numbers being estimates, they don't count digital at all and they don't give any source for how they come to their numbers.
"Considering they aren't giving hard numbers & are just throwing around a nebulous 50% number"
VgChartz don't have hard numbers....

I mean if you don't like it that's fine but don't go slating the game because it's not what you'd envisioned a next gen Star Wars Battlefront game to be... I for one think it's very in keeping with the original games.

His reply did not provoke such a response from all those hardcore fans. Over reaction much.
"dumb it down"
Did you ever play the previous 2 games ? They never had a ton of depth to them. They are designed to be casual/arcady. There just fun large scale battles.
"exploit it's shallow content"
Granted it doesn't have a ton of content but nor does many Shooters in this day and age. But it has a good few maps and lots of modes, 2 more maps launching when the movie comes out.
The only argument...
@SweatyFlorida
You say that yet.

Firstly this is VGChartz, it's estimates and it doesn't count digital sales (which are more prevalent this generation). I question the accuracy of their numbers considering they don't give any sources...
Secondly I don't think any game (except Fallout 4) was gonna exceed expectations this holiday with so many games releasing at the same time. This is a result of over saturation and competition during the holiday period.
I think it would serve ...
Congrats to Bethesda.
The only thing missing from that collection for me is GoldenEye, probably a licensing thing though. Looking forward to picking up an Xbox this holiday and replaying some of those great Rare games.
I care about a dense world full of detail and interaction, think many others do too it's one of the reasons why Bethesda games are so great. It's not like there forgetting gameplay, quests and story but everything in the world having a purpose is pretty cool... makes the world feel more believable and real as apposed to static. You say everything you can pick up is useless but in Fallout 4 literally everything you pick up has a use like for creating 1000s of weapon mods or bases.
I can't get one anywhere without having to pay a ridiculous price. I hope they get restocked soon...
