Oh playing the semantics card with the word "exclusive" as usual, that's what most fanboys do try to turn everything into list wars. Very shallow argument. And I mean PC releases 10 fold what consoles release so maybe you should be playing on there if all you care about is how many "exclusives" you get. Oh no I read what you said. And you seem to be dismissing Quantum Break, Gears of War 4, Dead Rising 4 and Forza Horizon 3 (which did get award nominations and wins) as "new high quality AAA exclusive retail games", I mean they were all high budget retail games that reviewed well. You may not consider those games high quality for whatever reason but then your just making this about opinions... of which everyone has.

Almost all of Micosoft's published retail games came in the first 10 months of the year (except for Dead Rising 4) so what you said is dead wrong.
Sony had one more retail exclusive this year. Sony had SFV, R&C, Gravity Rush remastered, MLB 16, Uncharted 4 and The Last Guardian against Microsoft's Quantum Break, Recore, Forza Horizon 3, Gears of war 4 and Dead Rising 4. Well the continued rivalry between Xbox fans and PS fans arguing over sales, games, exclusives are only fueled by each other. And futile at the end of the day, wasted energy. They should really all stop and just enjoy games I mean it's a passion we all share. I don't see any need to tout about console sales, if you like your console and the games on it, shouldn't that be enough ?

Seeing as Xbox doesn't have the same brand recognition as Playstation worldwide. Why do people constantly compare sales anyway ?
I don't think Xbox's success is dependent on them selling more than Sony, especially worldwide seeing as that's impossible at this point. As long as Xbox One is selling well in the markets Microsoft is pushing them in (like Uk, US, Australia etc.), that's all they'll care about.

Let's be fair here. If they didn't announce it (was already heavily rumored and wasn't going away) people would have complained that they bought the new Xbox One S without even needing too. I can only see this as a good thing for consumers. If they want to wait a year and get the Scorpio or get the Slim and use it this year. Options.

Congrats to Naughty Dog with the success of Uncharted 4, I loved the game. Probably my favorite game of the generation (and maybe in the series) thus far so most deserving to be #1 IMO.
They need to reboot Fable in to a more sophisticated RPG even if it loses some of it's uniqueness. Fable 2 was the only real big successfull one.
It's almost as if it's an unfinished game. Oh wait, that's right it is. My concern is the gameplay, I'll judge the visuals at launch. And there pushing visuals in SP and Responsiveness in MP. Makes sense to me.

This is true, some of the biggest games last year were RPGs (Witcher, Fallout 4 etc.). Fable 4 could have joined there ranks if they were just making it in the first place. A single player focused next gen Fable would have been great.
It is indeed a sad day to see such a great studio with loads of talent be shutdown. I have a feeling the Xbox Division is under a strict budget since new leadership at MS and unfortunately these studios had to pay the price.
I think DLC is very important for Single Player AAA games nowadays. The prospect of DLC stops people from trading in the game after completion. But maybe it won't matter, I hope the game does really well and we see Quantum Break become a franchise (and Alan Wake 2 for that matter, if there developing it).
To bad they haven't adopted the "PC-ish" idea of Free Online. They're eliminating everything that makes a console a console (almost). Not sure if I like the direction. I'm a bit apprehensive but would be happy to have my mind changed.

I noticed you were getting like over 20 disagrees all at once during our conversation. WTF is wrong with people ? And I agree btw, delays are not a bad thing. It's more important for the game to work and it's to a standard quality at launch.

Difference is there established franchises. I'm sure the game will do well if they release it in the Spring period but it's still a new IP and they always have trouble convincing people to buy at launch. I hope it does well, I'm very interested from what I've seen thus far.

Is that all you have to contribute to this discussion ? A semantical remark regarding the word exclusive ? We are literally comparing Xbox One and PS4 games so in that context why shouldn't I use the word exclusive. No Man's Sky and SFV are on PC yet I still include them as exclusives. So give it a rest with the "Xbox doesn't have any exclusives" crap.
