What are you talking about, I've been playing from day one and have had very little problems, side from a few glitches. Far from broken. Its a very ambitious game so there is going to be a few rough egdes (Fallout and Elder Scrolls had just as many problems). This game is fantastic and considering everything they achieved you'd be hard pressed not to forgive a few technical problems. Plus it's been like 2 weeks since the release and they've already fixed most of the problems.....
Did anyone really expect them to show gameplay when E3 is two weeks away ? I was expecting a cinematic trailer this morning, nothing else, E3 is the real place to show off gameplay and demos etc. not a Monday morning trailer. So be patient, the game is releasing this year, so I'm sure they'll show gameplay at E3.
Didn't say it did, just want to see PS4 meet it's potential before we move onto the PS5. With how much these consoles cost and the ever increasing cost of games and game development, we all want to get the most out of our machines before moving on to the next one and good games take years to develop for. If the lifespan of this console is smaller then it can only get so many good games in it's lifecycle. I'm just speculating...
@moldybread
I'd buy it in a heartbeat :]
Such a great series...
I agree, was just saying that I hope this isn't an indication that this generation is going to be a small one. Probably won't, as you said every company begin development of new console 5+ years before their release, MS are probably doing it and even rumors that Nintendo are gonna be releasing a new console soon (think that's because of the lack luster sales, which the PS4 is having the opposite effect. It's killing it in the sales so now it just needs to get the games out the...
YES!!!
I need something Uncharted like this holiday to ease the delay of UC4. Hope it's true.
It's to early to be talking about PS5 yet, the PS4 has barely scratched the surface. I haven't gotten my Uncharted 4, God of War 4, Gran Truismo 7 and whatever else Sony has planned yet. It's great that there preparing for the next generation of consoles but I hope that this isn't a indication that this generation is gonna be a quick small one. There is still plenty of people to make that jump from last gen to this gen and there hasn't been any standout games really yet (a...
I must say it does look like quite nice with the SweetFX Mod, gives that bit more of an edge to the game and makes it feel more realistic. Plus I think it contrasts better with the brutality of the world of The Witcher, suits the tone better than the normal colorful filter, which looks cartoony in comparison to this.
Like how dark movies get darker color palettes (e.g. The Dark Knight) and funny optimistic movies are bright and colorful (e.g. The Avengers). Didn't mean to...
Since when is 5 million unpopular for a single player action adventure game (sure it's not CoD numbers but that is a huge established MP shooter that gets released every year). Square were disappointed with initial sales but with the edition of the next gen releases its now gone onto become a franchise record for sales of Tomb Raider.

The game is exclusive not the IP (as I expected). I see it coming to PC but unlikely PS4... at least for the foreseeable future. I could see MS purchasing the IP or at least continue co developing it with alongside Square Enix/ Crystal Dynamics depending on how successful it is.
Same here, it is a sad prospect that The Phantom Pain is probably gonna be the last we'll ever see of MGS. One of my all time favorite series...
That is also why I hope it is a really great game, it looks fantastic, hope it lives up to that. So I'm hoping Kojima will send it out with a bang... cause it is the last Metal Gear game.
And on topic yes completely agree with the article, Konami are the one's out of touch. Traditional gaming is important...
@Abriael
I agree, no not every developer are as established as Rockstar but you gotta start somewhere, they should be building that credibility to their names. That's how you build a franchise and team like GTA and Rockstar...
But neither was Bethesda, they weren't that big when they first came out with Fallout 3. They released a trailer at E3 in 2007 and didn't release any footage of the game, then the following year released the game on Oct 2008 (presuma...
@Abriael
That's what I'm saying, I don't really think it's been downgraded (altered is a better word) but they clearly misrepresented their game with the initial reveal and now going two years from that reveal it has changed a lot and so that has been represented as a downgrade for most people cause it's different and to most people the original footage did look better than what we have.
I think you said in another article that game development is ...
The game looks amazing, it's scale and scope is beyond any game I have seen so far this generation. I am not disappointing in the final build but you can't deny the difference from 2013 reveal to the 2015 retail release.

What indication is there they are trying to win this resolution/fanboy war ? this article is about a job listing (as pointless as it, as I've already said below). It appears to me that they are game focused with all the first party titles coming out this holiday season.
I'm a PS4 owner and I have very little to look forward to this holiday with Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted 4 being delayed. I am quite tempted to get a Xbox One this holiday because of there lineup. I...
How is this a PR statement ? It's a job listing from Microsoft's official career page, a career opportunity for an individual. You wanna be mad at someone for creating controversy, be mad at gamingbolt... there the one's reporting on this it's obvious clickbait/flamebait. Of course consoles see improved tools and SDKs as it's life cycle goes on... you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Well there you go, day one patch should clear up the framerate issues... can't wait to get my copy next week.
I concur, let's get back to the good old AC2 days. If AC Unity was our AC1 of this generation, perhaps Syndicate could be the AC2 of this generation. Here's hoping.
I agree and it's about time. Last generation was great but now let's fully embrace this generation with new technology that'll push the boundaries of our games.
I think 1TB should have been in both from Day One myself, in this day and age of gaming when games are anywhere between 25-50GB in size, 500GB Drives are just not gonna cut it. Plus take into account how much overhead your OS takes up and you sitting there with about 400GB of space...
Luckily when I got my PS4, I bought a 2.5TB drive to replace the internal drive but even that is now over half full :P
