No it does not suck and it's far from crap. It's the Batmobile, like c'mon and it turns into a Tank, how can you say that sucks ? The only thing wrong with it in the game is the default controls which you can change and it's forced on you a bit to much from the Riddles Trophies and Narrative of the Story and Side Missions where you battle tons of Tanks. It can be annoying but if your saying it sucks because it's challenging that's not criticism it's just moaning. T...
I'm all for a new IP if that's what they want to do but it's pretty clear that there passion for Batman bled through in the Arkham Series, who's to say it couldn't in another Super Hero franchise. Perhaps Superman ? It isn't that far a leap to say a lot of them are into Superman seeing as they love Batman. After finishing Batman who's to say they wouldn't love to make another Super Hero Game, . I do say this however also with the desire to see an actually good ...
@Hayabusa
"But really, why do you care?"
I find it funny that you complain about me complaining and don't see the irony, why do you care in that case ? I just don't understand the issue with the Batmobile, the article clearly implies no one like the Batmobile even though that is so far from the truth. I thought this was the whole point of a comments section to discuss the topic these articles bring up. If people didn't complain then WB w...
@thunderbear
Exactly, I hate the cynicism in social media today. Batman Arkham Knight is truly an incredible game and I hope the negativity surrounding it regarding the PC port and the Batmobile does not jeopardize its chance of getting Game of the Year cause I really do think its a worthy contender even next to the likes of The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne...
Me too, I completely disagree with the article. Its maybe forced on you a bit to much (there is a lot of tanks to fight and the riddler puzzles can get annoying) but instead of just coasting by with the formula they already have for the Arkham games, Rocksteady actually tried to give us another intuitive gameplay mechanic. Is it is as good as Predator or Free flow combat ? no but is it still good in its own right ? To insinuate no one likes it cause there is some people who don't is ridic...
Well Cortana is coming to the Xbox One and ya need a Kinect to support that supposedly. Personally I think you should be able to issue voice commands to your Xbox/Cortana from your mic... I mean that's how it works on phones/Tablets/PC with a simple update, why should it be any different from your Xbox ? Anyway on topic, I don't think the Kinect brings a lot to the Xbox One besides Voice Commands and a camera to video call people on Skype. (I mean nobody buys an Xbox for Kinect Games)...
Firstly does it really matter what the resolution is ? It's the same experience across all platforms give or take a few pixels. DX12 is just talk until something is shown... plus third party who represent the majority of all games on consoles we don't even know will adopt DX12 straight away.
@Letthewookiewin
Your telling me resolution actually matters ? Really ? does it determine how good a game is or how great the experience is ? cause you would be dead wrong...
Wow... you are overreacting and stretching.
"Debatable. Personally I found it boring after an hour and very repetitive."
Fair enough you didn't like ME3 MP, thats completely fine but it was quite popular with the community and thats the point. So it should return.
"Urm...yes it was. You could only really achieve the best ending if you played the online."
Second thing, it was incorpotated in a very smal...
The difference being that Mass Effect 3 multiplayer was actually good, had free dlc/updates and was not incorporated into the single player experience. There is a lot of people in the Mass Effect community who want to see the return (me included) of MP in ME4, so why shouldn't it return in a similar capacity seeing as the previous one worked so well ?
Now I was as concerned about them adding in MP in Mass Effect to begin with but it was actually good so why shouldn't ...
If the game was designed with 30 fps in mind then (animations, scripts, cinematics etc.) it will not matter much running it at 60 fps on PC. Plus it's not a twitch shooter, will not matter much for the gameplay in the end. So it should be equally a good experience on console as PC (especially with the inclusion of mods).
@cfc78
Exactly I think 1080p @ 30 fps for a game like Fallout is more than enough...
Alright lets take a step back to reality for a sec.
No one is saying DriveClub is ugly, I'd have to give it the edge in terms of rain effect when compared to Forza 6. But still looks mighty impressive on F6 taking into account its 1080p @ 60 fps (assumably better anti aliasing than F5 as well). But when you compare everything else F6 has to offer, for the most part it looks much better. Lighting looks better than either Project Cars or Driveclub, performance is better, en...
Think I'm gonna have to stay off the internet for the next few days, this E3 has been the best in years and I'm getting sick of all these negative, cynical articles (and comments for the matter).
Yeah bit pricey, think I'll wait till it comes down. But does look pretty great... read somewhere that the sticks, triggers and bumpers are made of steel. Try Break that :P
I'm the same, I'm a PS4 owner and I thought Sony had a good conference but nothing to really latch onto this year. For MS it was about showing off this years games and features and you got Gamescom next for MS to show what they have releasing in 2016 and beyond. Like that is the way to do it... Sony's conference was great with big announcements but those games are years away. Fallout 4 had more impact because its coming this year, that's what I love about Bethesda they don'...
Why doesn't it surprise me that you agree with this... oh that's right your in every positive xbox article downplaying it. I'm not even an Xbox gamer but I'm damn straight getting one this holiday... instant game library when I'm buy bring all my 360 games over not to mention the great holiday line up. If you were a real gamer, you'd see the merits of all this putting your own interests aside. I'm not that into Racing games but did I recognize Forza 6 as a great ga...
@GameForever
I don't see it as fluff, they spent very little time talking about VR on Xbox Stage and secondly yes Sony had a lot of great game announcement (but that is kind of subjective) but none of those are coming out this holiday, they didn't even talk about Until Dawn which is out in August. They didn't give No Man's Sky a release date (which is presumably coming out this holiday) which make me think that this studio is under a lot of pressure to release this gam...
@FamilyGuy
They didn't show Morpheus in action at all, or announce price or release date... they just announced 2-3 games they have first party developers working on which we didn't get to see in action and said in will change the way we game. Its great talking about how great this product will be, showing it is a different thing all together (remember the Kinect ?) and how does it being at the show floor translate to people at home who are interested in this technology and se...
Horizon looked better than Uncharted and Tomb Raider to me, that game looked amazing. Sony had a great conference for surprises and gameplay reveals, third party content but as far as who won ? (I don't care that much) I'd have the give the nod to MS, even though I don't own a X1 (probably gonna pick one up this holiday now), based on the fact they announced BC, early access games, MODS for Fallout and a killer lineup for this holiday and beyond with still more to come from Gamesc...
Me to man. Exactly, there was nothing better than walking out of the Vault for the first time and stepping out into a vast wasteland. It's less than impressive graphics didn't lessen than moment one bit. Just captured the sense atmosphere that no other game to date could... It distinguishes itself from games and that's why I love it. Can't wait to play this.
The Tank Battles are not boring there's just to much of it in the game, to much of anything will feel boring after a while. Rocksteady obviously wanted the Tank Combat to be on par with Predator and Free Flow Combat but it wasn't. It's still good in its own right. It is heavily integrated into the story but that's not a bad thing nor does it drag down the quality of the game. The Batmobile is like one of Batman's most important tools/weapons and that's how Rocksteady w...
