Promising that PS3 is second and with Mirror's edge and Dead Space selling well the numbers will be a little better, but with L4D being basically a 360 console exclusive we may see these same margins. boy they should give up on the Wii though Boom Blocks was an exclusive and they also got Rockband in May (Q2) and all the Sports titles, and still where in last place.

There is a big difference between censorship and decency. Look at Bioshock you can kill children and no one cares because it is in the context of evil, it is different. The developers didn't make kids killable not because they wanted to or felt pressured not to. They did it because of their own moral standing. This isn't even an issue of outside forces making developers not make the game they want to make. Take your soap-box else-where.
Sony owns naughty dog. Sony writes their paychecks. Insomniac as an exclusive contract with Sony. They pay these developers to create these games then give them a cut of the profits. Sony hit a homerun with MM and they are making this move to hopefully find another developer like that.
This is a blessing in disguise, when you consider Sony is planing to release MAG and two MMOs next year they need to learn how to get servers to support their future plans.
I agree I will buy this but I think the WWII theme is enough to turn alot of COD4 fans away, especially on PS3 where R2 and KZ2 are around the corner. I am on the fence with Quantum of Solice as well, I really like the new Bond movies and have been impressed with what I have seen of the game running on the COD engine. Boy I have too much stuff to get threw this year.
But I am not thrilled with this, we have enough horror games, especially with RE5 in March, Sony Japan needs to release a BR disc of something big. Sony has enough Shooters (R2,KZ2), Platformers (LBP, R&C2) racers (Motorstorm, GT5, Wipeout) Action (GOW3, Drakes2). So what do we need..let me see....what could a Japanese Studio do better than any American Studio...hhmmm...horror, sure...but there is something else...I know JRPGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
HAZE!!! Was not multi-plat game folks. that is why PS3 has higher sales. I am sure if Take-Two posted their earnings from last year it would be flipped because they had Bio-shock and GTA4 plus 360 didn't have MLB the Show to compete with. Then if they showed this year PS3 would be higher because it has Bio-shock.
I hate 360 by the way, but let's have a little better prospective.
Now if EA or Activision say they made more on PS3 that would be big, but I doubt it with...

I respect your opinion because you are in the Beta, but I think that is why at TGS Sony annouced all of its partners in Home. I think they will release it once a few more of those partners add the content they want. I see this as like when the sent out the trophy kits to the developers they just sent out the home kits to developers to add special rooms in home. We will see, but I think once home is released they will call it the open beta and make improvements to it throughout the year.
