I think it is still early to tout MGS4 and LBP as trumping the MS lineup. I mean R2 will get 9+ across board. But so will Fable 2, Gears 2 and L4D. And both consoles will have Fallout 3, Farcry 2 and PoP which I think all will have 9+ scores across the board. I am actually glad that I don't have both consoles this holiday, I don't know where I would get the money, I mean I have 10-12 games that are must buys this holiday all for my PS3 all starting with Dead Space. Then it is 2 per week here for a couple of weeks.
They said nine and we got nine I guess. Quantum Theory and Demon Souls seem to be the only ones that I am remotely interested in right now, maybe Yakuza 3, but there is a chance it may never be released outside Japan.

DC Universe Online and the Agency they are console exclusives as well. Also MLB the Show 09 and NBA 09, and Singstar + Incognito has a project to reveal as well as London Studio. People forget that R2 and alot of other games releasing this year where not annouced until January or later. So we have no idea what the biggest games of 09 will be until probably End of Spring.

If you think I am a fan of Microshite you should check all of my previous posts. My point is Sony let MS go to their home turf and with just 2 annoucements are being crowned as 'TGS winners'. If you have been following this site you would know that Sony was supposed to annouce 9 new titles but they did not.
It is fine if Sony decided against annoucing those titles, but all Sony had to do in their keynote speech was show a trailer for the Tecmo game, maybe talk about White Knight...

Putting the fanboyism aside. Even as a Sony fan I have to say MS easily won TGS. I mean Sony said they had 11 new games to reveal, they knew people where screaming for more JRPGs and to see something new. I even kept hitting this site for any news of Sony revealing a new game, we did see that new Tecmo game, but I am disappointed they decided against not having a press confrence, especially one that could rival MS. I mean all they had to do was show maybe 2 - 3 trailers of games for next year...
UK. Your right the first game was not that great but that was GG first time out. They put out a PSP game that made up KZ1 problems and redemed themselves as developers. This game picks up where liberation left off so that is why it is getting the attention.

To each his own I guess. I have heard alot of people that are in the beta for LBP including media that say they cannot put it down. As far as Home goes, noone here, I think can predict what will happen I mean we all thought that Wii would be in last place and even some thought that the Xbox price cut would cut into the Wii sales last month. I have only seen Game Stop ads for LBP so far, but Jack Trenton said at E3 that they would support the title alot. I think we should start to see similar to last years commercals where they are touting all of their exclusives, Socom, MotorStorm and R2 included.
Hopefully they don't rely on nintendo's strategy for last Spring, I don't remember 1 commercial for Mario Kart, Wii Fit or Smash brothers. And all those titles sold like hot cakes. I don't see that being the case for sony ...
