read comments on engadget, their review, and stuff on youtube. People have been claiming 10-12 hours with wifi on and downloading apps, watching vids, marvel comics, etc. Seems like it's 10 hours give or take while actually doing something and not just having the brightness all the way down.
I would like an iPad, but like most, waiting on the 2nd g. I don't care for usb ports or sd slots since it's not a computer. It's like an iphone or ipod. It syncs. It's a media consumption device.
What I really like to see is a camera. Using iChat on this thing would be really nice. Some form of multitasking but hopefully not battery-draining. My droid drains battery if I leave multiple apps open. And I would really love to see someone release a video torrent app or somet...
I don't understand what's the point with storing pictures on the iPad or even having a photos app for it. It doesn't even have a proper photo editing program. iPhone I can understand since it has a camera at least. But the ipad? I don't evne see a point in using that as a digital picture frame.

Granted, you can watch it in portrait or landscape mode. One hand holding it. The other free. Standing. Sitting. Lying down. Sideways. Every possible position you can imagine.

Like the AppleThief said... it's actually a good thing. Shows they're still advancing blu-ray and making newer versions a reality rather than concept. Also shows that if a PS4 comes out, Sony can just utilize the higher spec blu-rays.
I think they're talking about television (hz) to the eyes and not the fps in the games themselves. Otherwise how is it possible they had the Wipeout and GT5 3D demos ?
I just think they're bitter. If you were a dev jumping ship to produce a game on a platform you thought would be a success (PS3 betting on the success of the PS2), you'd expect your game to make a hefty profit. But this wasn't the case for them. They probably feel as if they should've developed HS for the 360 instead. They probably think they would've made more.

It's only a giant iPod touch if you choose to see it superficially, but underneath it opens up other potential possibilities of computing.
I'd imagine that given a year and assuming developers take advantage of the larger screen real estate, we will begin to see apps that function like desktop-counterpart programs and see a transition from normal mouse/keyboard computing to completely multi-touch computer interfacing.

I'm only 14 hours into the game. Though... it's been such a boring unappealing 14 hours I don't think I want to go to near the end to 'enjoy' a Final Fantasy experience.
That said, I've only played it for two days (14 hours total on the game) after purchasing it the weekend of launch. It's been sitting on my shelf since.

I have myopia and astigmatism. Like above said, they go over your glasses and work fine. You can even adjust the bridge to fit you properly. At least that's what the demo glasses I tried on had.
Good points. Though go check them out at Best Buy. They seem to have a non BB guy knowledgeable in the tech answering questions for customers, and he just kinda hangs around near the 3D tv demo area.
I was at Best Buy checking out their selection of 3D tvs they had on display in their Magnolia dept. I have to say I'd like to invest in one as soon as 3D blu ray movies and games are out. $2499 for a 40in + screen isn't too bad. I know LCDs are cheap now but several years ago I paid roughly about the same for an equally sized LCD.
The tvs at Best Buy weren't Sony, I think Phillips but it also had the glasses w/ power button. I think the family next to me were equally impress...
I always thought the Zeus fight would've made an excellent looking fighter. The graphics in that part of the game were mind blowing. Imagine a multiplayer GoW "2D/3D" fighter like SF4 with the characters being the gods, perseus, hercules, and whoever gow 'mortal' characters I left out.
I knew these guys were just developing HS on the PS3 hoping to make an easy buck. In some ways I'm glad it didn't work out for them.
how's the 'keyboard' like? I wanted to try it out but too packed and I wanted my free parking. Not paying $5 for being two minutes over. =)
