Hulu+ is just Hulu+. No direct relationship to PSN+
It's called Hulu+ on the app store in itunes.
And Netflix is like a dvd-rental system. They mail dvds to the subscriber (as well as blu-rays but that's an additional monthly fee). They also provide internet streaming of certain movies. Most of the streaming movies are 'crap' but from time to time there's a good one to stream.

true that, except it went to the point where some games had achievements just cuz (e.g., "You just got an achievement for completing your first quest!") which imo is stupid. There are good games that make good use of achievements, and then there are the ones that are just littered with them and no doubt you can get 100% completion on 'those' games by just finishing the title.
you are right on that one. There are tons of ps3 boxes at the gamestops I go to but none of them carry any new in stock. I wonder if this trade-in is cash value or store credit. I know Fry's carries the new ps3s in stock. Walmart is out again. =T

eh I was checking ebay to see if they actually do fetch a higher price. Nope. I'm on the same boat wondering if i should trade in my fat ps3 for the newer one. Not liek there are any ps2 games I play anymore... though I'd be kicking myself if they release persona 5 on ps2 ... which I highly doubt.
I didn't think of it that way... but what you mentioned "3D movies" caught my eye. With 3Dtvs coming soon and when it establishes itself in a decent amount of households, people will want to purchase a PS3 for its 3D bluray capabilities.
What I'm very curious about is how come pictures of the new 360S never got leaked weeks and months before release?
You would think with all those gadget leaks over the past few months that we'd see actual leaked images of the new system.
instead of the camera, I could spend the money on games. Sorry Kinect, but Reach, TDU2, DeadRising2, Fable3, and BlackOps says hello. I didn't invest in my 360 to play Rated-E for Everyone, and though I did enjoy Viva Pinata, I'm much too old for anything more casual than that.
Give me something like Gears or Deadspace instead. Gaming for the big boys.

although we don't know for sure if there is concrete proof that manufacturers told PD to tone down the damage modeling for their cars, I think it is safe to assume that such talks did occur. Afterall, GT as a franchise is huge and practically world renown. Having your car in a GT game is practically a huge advertisement of your company.

a dual pad may solve quite a few problems, like including a keyboard on the second screen. Why not just get a laptop with touch capabilities?
I think the PS3 is both. On the motorstorm demo I tried, the cars were showing depth 'inside the screen' but particle effects/misc objects (water, dust, and passing trees) were flying 'out' of the screen.
3DTV w/o glasses would result in an even more negative opinion, considering the narrow viewing angle that option has. The only reason why 3DS 3d works so 'well' is because the device is about 10-20 inches away from your face. That's how most people play their 'gameboys' right? I don't recall anyone playing portable 3 feet away and call that optimal.

Apple *and* Sony should definitely chip in and throw money at Hulu then. That way people would want to get an iPad or iPhone to watch Hulu. /s

Osu_gamer, you do realize it's not a fair argument to use the PS3's price in this right? When I got the a 360 pro at launch, it was quite expensive too [for a console] at its time. Granted, it was the only hd console during its time so it seemed an 'ok' price.
But when the Wii and PS3 came out with built-in wifi and the latter with user-changeable drives, the nickle & diming of overpriced 360 accessories suddenly became a turn off. You can say there ...
