I dont think the majority of ps3 slim buyers are from former ps3 fat owners. The difference between the PS3 and 360 'slim' models is that owners of the original PS3 fat would be sacrificing usb slots and bc for a slim. Not a sound decision. Owners of the original 360 however, would be gaining hdmi and built-in wifi as the sole reasons for getting the new 360S. I'm more inclined to believe a portion of new 360S purchases are from people who already have a 360.

Why should Sony give you a discount on Hulu+ if you have PSN+. It's not up to Sony to decide the pricing Hulu sets. Since when did Sony "own" Hulu? It would be a big dodo case if PSN+ users get a discount while the other users of Hulu+ on their iphone, ipad, and pcs get shafted since they also have to pay the $9.99 / mo to use the service.

why would you need a sleeve anyway? and what's with the appeal of sleeves on the wiimotes? I often find them a hassle to put on/off especially when changing the batteries on the wiimote.

Sony isn't the only one selling 3Dtvs. In fact, Sony isn't the first one to release a 3dtv. If anything, Sony is probably more deadset on promoting 3D to boost blu-ray sells when those 3D movies start hitting the blu-ray shelves.
And if anything, Sony is an electronics company. They're more likely adopting the 3D 'future-standard feature' now than doing the wait-and-see approach that their tv competitors are obviously not waiting around for.

like above , i think it's safe to say single-player only games on 360 don't sell well unless it has Bioware stuck to its cover or the cover has characters with guns blazing (e.g., such as the cover for ME2 vs ME1).
