FFX-2 was a turd. A turd that was spray painted gold and dusted with glitter.
It's going to need a totally refreshed combat system, towns, stores and importantly a narrative that is involving.
That said the soundtrack to FFXIII is pretty good and I listen to it often.
After the borefest of FFXIII with its travesty of a combat system, no towns, no stores and no fun I think I'm going to wait until there's been a few reviews before buying this.
Hell I haven't even finished FFXIII yet, I got to Gran Pulse and just lost interest.
Meh, I'm good with my HDD for both my 360 and PS3. It's good news for people who want this though.
It's not THAT strange that a woman likes video games, I don't get why some people find it so strange. It's not like she admitted to taking a leak standing up or smelling her own farts.
Well I doubt that it'll be called the 720 or the NeXtbox, both names make me die a bit inside every time I see them.
I think some people are that ingrained in their view that it'll be on the next home console from ms that they're possibly setting themselves up for disappointment. It's the same with the actual launch of the console itself, every year since 2009 we've had some 'insider' tell us that the console will be revealed at e3. My advice is to get excited once MS actually announces the thing, it they do next year then great, if not its not the end of the world.
You'd think that Bethesda would learn to properly Q&A their games by now, which isn't to take away from this release one bit. They're lucky that their games are so well crafted in other areas but they tend to be a bit buggy upon release which is a shame really.
I think the coming global meltdown will delay the next gen, that and SkyNet not GTAV.

I thought the Catwoman DLC while very good and unique in its execution was a little short. I would have liked to have seen a couple of more 'episodes' and a wider variety of combat moves.
That said, it still is a brilliant addition to a strong contender for game of the year. I hope the other DLC that is released follows it's format.

I think the problem with this is that the handheld market is two distinct markets. You have the casuals on the smart phones and the core gamers on the dedicated handhelds. The phone market can't reach the core market because of a lack of buttons ans this reduces both the scope of the games available and the type of game available.
The distinct markets will happily co-exist with a small amount of overlap between the two.
MS aren't stupid, start the trilogy on 360 and finish it off on the next XBOX, this way all the people who've started on the 360 will be more likely to get the next model to finish it off.
It's quite smart really.

I'm not a fan of Nintendo's software so don't bother with their systems. While I acknowledge the problem Sony had with their hardware they've pretty much sorted it now. MS managed to produce the worst quality console for reliability ever, that's some achievement! I think it prudent to wait 12-18 month to see if they've got their act together next gen, especially as its frustrating waiting for them to fix/replace the damn thing.

Also, regardless of how many disagree's I get I can confidently say that I will wait 12-18 months before sinking any cash in MS's new console.

I love the uncharted games but are you really suggesting that zombie Nazi's and magic gardens make sense? It's as grounded in reality as unicorns and angels. This discovery changes nothing for the franhise and takes away enjoyment from it not one bit.
Gaming 'journalism' really scrapes the barrel sometimes.
The thing is by reporting this the gaming website is drawing attention to PETA and inadvertently putting them in the reach of people who wouldn't normally have any idea who they are. The danger is that they may be drawn into PETA's lunacy.
The best thing would have been for the gaming press to have just ignored them and not given them the air space.
