The thing is you're paying $300 to play online with the 360 over the next 5 years and playing online with the PS3 will cost you $0.

The thing is no matter what the die hards say the majority of people who pay the Live fees are ONLY paying so they can play online and MS know this and that's why those people who only own a 360 and who game online will continue to pay MS. They're basically being held by their balls.
Sarcasm right?
I won't be getting this as they don't seem to have fixed the ridiculous save system. Its a shame really as I was really looking forward to this.
Siren:Blood Curse?
Maybe the developers should record what's been said and send a copy to their parents?
It's precisely because we are gown up that it gets on our nerves and frankly of you're paying to use online services you'd expect Microsoft to take it a little more seriously then they do.
Another day and another comment from MS that betrays how little faith that they have in their product.
You do know that this is 2010 and not 2006 right?
Why? I can play online for no extra cost with PSN and save myself around £300 in extra charges (if you believe MS when they say the 360 will have a 10 year life cycle).
I buy multi-platform titles with multiplayer components on the PS3 as I'd rather spend that 30 or so quid a year on other games rather than online usage fees. I'd prefer it if I could just buy whatever game on whatever system it runs better on but I guess MS is sticking by their business model for better or for worse.
They did this for publicity, they knew what would happen and a couple of thousand downloads with the ban hammer coming down and the wall to wall media coverage is $ for $ far more effective as a marketing tool.
I can't believe that people fall this nonsense.
I guess stupid people deserve to be shafted.
THQ deserve to be cheated, I haven't bought one game made by that talentless company for around 8 years.
I hope that many people are ripped off with fake jailbreak devices- the parasites deserve it./andrew ryan
You do realise that the PS3 is the LAST of the current generation of platforms to be hacked.
Phew.... what a relief.
@ Pennywise
But its true though and I love how someone has clicked disagree on my comment even though if you want to play online with your XBOX it will cost you $300 over the next 5 years and $0 with the PS3.
I mean how can that be wrong? It WILL cost $300. Why should people be forced to pay for something that is free on every other platform?
