Music games aren't dead- they're just not being churned out year after year with no regard for quality, if anything it's a GOOD thing for the genre.
That's an unsubsidised price, the cost of the unit on an 18 or 24 month contract is likely to be less. For reference http://www.amazon.com/HTC-A... shows an HTC desire for around $464.
I'd say the $400 price tag is looking quite sweet.
He clearly has a mental illness and he should be in a secure unit for a very long time. Mental illness isn't a code for 'do anything you want' and these people need to be;
a) kept of the streets so they don't hurt anyone else.

@ Kalowest, If you don't pay your Live online charge MS just cripple every game that has online functionality and I own those games and spent money on them.
That's why I buy every game that has online multiplayer for my PS3.

EDGE use the full scale from 1-10 whereas most other sites use a weighted scale 8 and above. A 7 from edge is 2 above average and is probably an 8 or 9 from everywhere else.
There are loads of second and third party studios out there and MS has a big cheque book.

At the end of the day game developers wont see a penny of pirated games, the whole homebrew argument is rubbish- its all about getting something for nothing for these people.

Well Left4Dead is built from the ground up as a MP game. There are perfectly good SP games that don't need an MP element just so it's 'cool'.
I really hate the fact that MP seems to be shoe horned into perfectly reasonable single player games, Bioshock and Dead Space- I'm looking at you.
Putting MP on this game would make as much sense as putting it on SIlent Hill.
I really enjoyed Alan Wake and I can't help but think that had this game been released a year or so earlier it wouldn't have had to live up to unrealistic expectations. Taken for what it was I can think of plenty of worse ways to spend your time.

Sometimes you just have to look at yourself and wonder if maybe the problem isn't everyone else but is in fact you. Just a thought. I mean you're even despised on EDGE and you can hardly cast that site as partisan one way or the other.
