Yeah but normal people still want physical media, thats why you can still buy CD's over a decade after they were supposed to die.
The real fact is that people want blu-ray on the next Xbox because it makes sense, why would you want to deny people choice? Not everything is about your narrow fanboy view, its about games and movies not stupid playground wars.

It'll include blu-ray support and it'll be the support that allows up to 250gb to be read off one disk, you might have to buy an extra adapter like you did with DVD playback on the original XBOX but if no support was provided it'd be commercial suicide.
No, it's battle system was tedious and boring and represented an insult to western gamers. They implemented this system to cater for western tastes- in other words they thought that we couldn't handle a proper turn based system.
Next gen I'm not going to buy all systems as living standards are being squeezed, I'll make my choice based on the following;
1) Number and variety of quality exclusives
2) Ability to play a variety of formats of movie
3) Free online or if no online is free, the lowest cost
4) Ability to use third party peripherals and hardware to upgrade
5) Reliability based up last generations efforts.
