yes that sums up my point, all i really want in this world is to live my life the way i want to, i am not going to mess in anyone else's life (even though i may not agree with or like it) so all i ask is they stay out of mine. if someone had an avatar of some fat hairy dude bending over in a thong, i might say it sucks (my opinion) but i would never ask them to change it, in kind i wouldn't want someone who doesn't agree with my avatar bugging me to change it.

where do you get your numbers? i don't see hardly any 3rd party games (and those aren't exciting looking) for the wii. developers like to push the envelope and wii is very weak in that regard. basically the wii is a 1st party platform with nothing but super duper paper mario 25 type games and wii fit, wii sports, wii sit in your living room and wave your arm around like an idiot.

i actually believe this, you keep hearing how you can find a wii but every store i have been to in the last 4 months has at least 2 or 3 in stock, this has been probably 8 or 10 stores. they are literally everywhere. i asked one guy at target and he said they haven't gotten any quite in awhile but they weren't flying off the shelves either which is why they still had some. the ones they had were there from a shipment a few months ago.

halo wars is being made by ensomble <sp> studios with bungie looking over their shoulder, it is an RTS set in the time when the humans first went to the war with the convenant. it is due out spring of 08
i think that is way over optimistic, a price drop and mgs4 will help but i don't think it will help all the way 16.5million, now if sony was dropping 4 or 5 exclusive games that were worth a damn in that time frame maybe. i think they should stick to their 10mil goal given the line up and a possible price drop that seems more realistic.
the gears story line is not bad, they just need to dive into it more, start the movie way before the game so we can learn of marcus's past more and immultion etc.. a gears movie focused around emergence day would rock.
you also have to look at the time, the 29th doesn't include all of the weekend, alot of my friends who didn't pick it up tuesday got it on the weekend and a bunch of people at work didn't get their 360 and halo 3 copy until the weekend because we have been working too much. but all in all i would say the numbers look fanstastic.
the sony fanboys are also forgetting that casual halo fans will be getting a 360 and halo 3 soon, word of mouth takes a week or two to spread, i can think of 3...
yeah lets not say some retailers, it is gamestop. i can't stand those people. they did that to me with saints row, so after they wouldn't sell me the game i told them what i thought of their system, went across the street to a super wal-mart and bought the game (after they told me i wouldn't be able to get it anywhere). halo 3, i walked in 30min to midnight at a super wal-mart and got a copy at midnight just fine. i hate the way gamestop does business.
i think your comment was a bit of a stretch. why do you have to turn everything into a 360 vs ps3 debate. fact is no matter what console you own EA sucks, EA sucks on the pc as well their crappyness of producing games spans all platforms and especially so with madden. madden on any platform is historically the buggiest, glitchiest POS ever sold. and they do it over and over again every year.
i can't wait for 100 v 100, that is going to be insane. in a way i am glad the game got pushed back, means it will be even better since they have more time to work on it and i am going to be busy with halo3,pgr4,COD4, ace combat 6 the rest of this year anyway. huxley looks awsome and if it comes out in the spring then i can focus on just playing it. damn you MS for giving us so many good games so quickly.

did anyone think it was going to be good? it looked pretty sucky the first time i heard about it and saw it.
sony defense force have always been fools, not that they need another explanation point after that fact but they got one for this also.
the disparity in scores definitly shows fanboyism between reviewers. when the game comes out and people actually play it (sony fanboys you can't claim this game is awsome when you haven't played it, it is a new IP and you dont' have a previous game to base your comments on) we will see which reviewer is the fanboy and which ones were pretty fair. when the game comes out and non-fanboys play it they will know if the 8 score is right or the 4.
despite this one score, i have the game (how many of you posters can say that?) i would say it is an 8.5/10. the game is fun and some of the multiplayer maps are a blast. the multiplayer side of the game is fast and i mean moves fast you better have your twitch reflexes going (playing drunk = many deaths). but over all if you want a flight game you can pick up play and have some fun shooting people down without having to put in hrs upon hrs like a hardcore sim (i like those to at times) this ...
