EA sucks. the problem is come august i really want to play a football game and madden is the only NFL option. every year they add "features" but 2 weeks after the game is out is a glitchy buggy POS that they never fix. BTW if i remember ea renewed their nfl license till like 2012 or something.
i agree the chainsaw is fine, actually in a laggy game it is your best weapon since i can fire the shot gun 4 times at someone and they turn around and kill me in one shot, however the chainsaw always works. as for noobs running around doing nothing but chainsawing, if they get you it is definitly your fault even if the game is laggy. just roll back (you roll faster than they walk) then just lancer or hammerburst them down, that easy. maybe if you didn't run around with the shot gun from the...

worst phone, easy palm treo. terrible form factor, slow, large as a brick, touch screen is useless.
most dissapointing phone,, the blackberry storm, i was so excited for that phone and within 5 minutes of actually using one at the verizon store i didn't like it, whats the point of typing when you have to use only one thumb or go really slow because you have to wait for the screen to pop back up.

sorry to dissapoint you but her car is either in the garage at home or the parking garage at her work and the built in connector for her car is in the center console so heat is not the issue, in fact the second one she had died in 4 months during the winter and by parking in the garages the car never got super cold either. she wants a zune but her car has the built in connector and controls for the ipod.
i have a 30gig zune running the 3.0 firmware, i haven't gotten around to the 3.1 update. works fine.
ipods suck, my wife is on her 3rd one in 3 years, she uses them in her car so they never get moved around much other than from the car to in the house to put new music on, never had one last longer than a year.

i agree with most people, i mean come on the "polish" that gives games the beatiful graphics are usually in the last steps of the development process. wait to critque a game until it is nearly "gold" or close to pressing discs, by then the visuals are done and they are working on fixing little bugs in gameplay.
no i am saying put the money into context, its $10 or 2 beers. what are you going to get more use out of, a pizza or hours on new maps? if money is an issue with you then i am saying eat roman noodles one night instead of pizza and there is your $10 for the maps which you will play for a month.

I like the timing of the map pack, keeps the game interesting. you would complain if they waited for a map pack...
people just like to complain. now when gears 2 first came out yeah i was unhappy because it took me on average over 7 minutes to get into a multiplayer game, after the patch a few weeks ago it takes around 30seconds which i don't have a problem with. as for the maps, they are pretty good and alot of fun, i will play them enough to get the value out of them (not to mention the fact they are not free keeps alot of the rude pre-teens off of them and only some of the better more serious gamers ar...
i for one am hoping for killer instinct, but everyone is forgetting halo wars coming in the spring. I don't get what the hype about alan wake is either but i can imagine mass effect 2 coming this year also. wow that first video was so scripted, i guess it was meant to be funny but failed. i mean first of all he is obviously a gears 1 shotgun noob, but secondly wasn't even close to aimed at anyone with the shotgun that first round. the second round he made a pretty good sniper shot actually, but when you go 2 on 1 running into a fight and leaving the boomshot to be picked up you are dead.
his acting though was horrible, he didn't seem truely mad at all.

which is why companies like that either fail or end up going public to raise capital. every company is looking for that one product that hits big and can then make more from spin offs. when you start a company your investors do not want to see you make $100k/yr profit, they would rather you lose $1mil the first two years then make $100million when the product...
btw if you want to talk raw numbers here is an example. i know it is a xbox website but at every e3 MS brings this up in their conference. basically in terms of cash brought in (not profit) the wii is dead last in SOFTWARE. that is what developers look at, how much money do people spend on games per install base.

"other platform" means PC... MS has the first right to publish any bungie game, that was part of their divorce. and if MS publishes the game you can be sure it won't show up on the ps3 or wii. other platform they are talking about is PC gaming,,, they are wanting to go back to their roots.
