let me preference this with i haven't seen the video,,,,
i think what people mean is cut scenes, wether they are in engine or cg as opposed to actual game play (running around, shooting actual control over what is going on on the screen). an in-engine cutscene can be made beautiful but what happens when that engine has to deal with people controlling the character etc...

i think they are focusing on the teenage and mature gamers. but there are a few kiddie games coming, lego star wars, that actually looks kind of fun.

i can't wait for this to come out, i actually have a sony walkman 20 gig mp3 player. the hardware isn't bad, the screen sucks and so does the song navigation, but the batter is awsome, lasts 35-40hrs between charges. However, i want to throw the thing out of the car window so badly, first you have to use sonic stage software to load anything on the player and that is the worst software ever written. it freezes, it dies, it takes 8minutes to change tabs and god help you if you actually want to...
what makes you think the 360 is doing poorly in europe? the only place it isn't doing well is japan.
true, there aren't any launch titles that make me have to run out and have. the only game that is ps3 only that looks half way exciting is assassins creed and that doesn't hit until 2007 anyway and there is always the rumour it is coming to the 360.
i don't, that is about where i would expect the wii, it is a kiddie console, every 11yr old now might get a wii buy by 2010,2011 they will be 15 or 16 and will have gone out and bought a 360 or ps3 as they want to play more main stream adult games.

i agree, they are beating them but it isn't like they are selling any psp because of it. "wii to follow" - now that was a funny comment. being ahead in one war doesn't mean you will be ahead in the other. consoles and handhelds are very different.
I like the red pimp suit. that is why it is nice to have different types of games, i hate final fantasy, oblivion etc.. i can't stand the idea of running around a single player game for 20hrs so i can brag i have a level 20 elf, i do like madden but i enjoy shooting games like this and GTA. Screen shots don't do this game justice, download the demo and you will have fun with this game.
no i didn't forget a word but you are correct. just because it halo means it HAS the potential to rock and worth looking up information on (hype). BUT seeing actual game play will give you a better idea if it does. do i want to see gameplay from halo 3, you bet i do.
yeah but if you do that you wouldn't be able to see the wii because you would have to pan the camera out so much to see the refigerator size ps3..lol
new picture would be nice. not that console size matters anyway, would anyone really care if they had a system the size of a big stereo amp, no they wouldn't if the system and games were awsome.
even if it is far from release doesn't mean you can see some game play with the understanding it isn't complete. So just because it has a MGS title means it automatically rocks? that is fanboy-ism at its finest. just because it has a MGS title means it has the potential to rock, hence creating hype and making people very interested in the game. there is nothing wrong with wanting to make sure the hype is worth it.
agreed, at least we know the 360 version will definitly have online battles.
