i was surprised, there isn't much a difference but if you watch it a couple of times the 360 colors are definitly brighter (ps3 looks washed out) and on the indoor courts the reflection of the players on the floor the 360 has almost the whole person reflecting on the floor the ps3 has a colored smudge. they are probably talking about all the cgi cut scenes in the game. the majority of the time we see a screen shot of a ps3 game it is from some cut scene not in game. i believe that the cut scenes might look like the trailer and that is what the producer was talking about.

price is a concern also, if you can get 2 8800s in SLI for around the same price as one of these cards, sli is the way to go.

uhhh, i didn't think the ps3 version of sonic was all that different from the 360 version. that game SUCKS, why is it at the top for the ps3?
see it is the opposite for me, i only play games online, i HATE japanese rpgs and animie games with little boys and girls. the only single player games i enjoy are GTA type games which is no longer on the PS. so the ps3 holds nothing to interest me since assassins creed is now on the 360 also.
i guess when people compare the two they feel like they are getting more bang for the buck with the 360.
but even at the demo stations i have noticed more frame rate drops in the ps3 games...
i don't have a stand alone DVD player, i use my 360 and before that i used my xbox. i have not noticed or had one of the problems they describe, the playback is awsome on my 42" HDTV and surround sound.
lately every time sony opens their mouth they stick their foot right in however i agree with them on this one. but at the lower price point this is something i am sure nintendo hoped for. there is hype for the machine and if someone is at a store and sees one it isn't a major purchase or big deal to pick one up.
there is a difference, if MS is the publisher of this game they have put money into it (like GOW) and would have say over where it goes, ie not to the ps3. MGS4 on the other hand, sony is not the publisher and the publisher/developer can do what they like.
look in the mirror for a sad person. if you cling on to a couple of screen shots (which could be cut scenes for all you know) as progress that is just sad.
Personally though this game is shaping up to look pretty cool, some ingame video would be very nice to see but i heard there is no online piece to it that it is only a single player game, is this true?
