I don't understand what it only being available for 3 days has to do with anything, if anything it is more relivant due to the press coverage of everything that happened at launch. the article is based on his first 30hrs with the system right out of the box.
i read the other day (so i don't know how true) but the cable with the ps3 for the sixaxis was a rather short usb cable, if true that would suck when you are playing/charging at the same time. at least it is standard USB so you can go down to best buy and pick up a longer one for cheap.
everyone i know with a 360 already have the game. i would expect them to sell 1 million by thanksgiving.
maybe the shot in the butt will wake some of them up and realize sony hosed them again by shipping half of what they said and they are waiting for nothing.

i will get one. for one i HATE my sony walkman, biggest hunk of crap ever. two, my wife has an ipod and i don't like it at all. also with the marketplace video coming soon i can get movies and transfer them to the zune. the built in radio is awsome and some of the accessories are a good idea (hard platic cases, spare battery you don't have to open the device to put in etc..) and the tie in with the 360 puts it over the top for me.
ok this makes sense, thanks for figuring it out people. what caught my attention was the HUDs between the picutres are completely different (position of the nitro etc..)
yeah it is not a fair comparison then it needs to be on the same machine. also the ps3 version is more dev time than the 360
no they won't. digital walkman is a POS!!! i don't like ipods but i wish i had one instead of the stupid walkman.
4 - obviously you haven't played the game so you really shouldn't comment. although you are obviously a sony fan boy you did make a good point. it is an xbox magazine so it isn't like they are totally unbiased. However anyone who has actually spent a couple of hours playing the game (especially multiplayer) would agree with any review that is 9+ . it is a great game.
we are on here because we are at work today. trust me if i wasn't at work i would be home playing GOW. you are just shocked that GOW lived up and went beyond the hype. to be honest it surprised me also but the game IS THAT GOOD.
i am sure we will get some videos etc... even if halo 3 were done (which it isn't) they wouldn't release it now. there aren't enough ps3s around to make it competition this xmas you would want to drop halo3 on sony right about the time they get some production flowing so spring next year.
however it would be amazing if we could get a short demo for halo3. that would drive the hype big time but i bet we just get some videos.

i doubt a bad ps3 is the case. it is that they didn't get the info to the developer in time to make the game as good as the 360 version and the developer is on a schedule to release both at the same time so some things must suffer in the ps3 version.
EA sucks. They are trying to distract from the fact that their super buggy super rushed games are inferior to what other developers are doing (capcom-lost planet, epic - GOW etc.. etc..)
it might be confusing but this season it won't be as hard for casual gamers. given the limited availability the ps3 is not an option so that leaves the 360 and wii. just like last year with the 360, if you are not hardcore about the system you simply aren't going to walk into a store this xmas season and pick up a ps3.
when the fall update to the dashboard was done i noticed when i went to download a demo or video there was a new option to select a different storage device, at the time it seemed kind of cool but now that you can do this i see why.
this is awsome. i wasn't going to get the HD-DVD player simply because i dont' buy alot of movies on DVD as it is. however i have no problem downloading movies, pick your movies watch TV for 30 minutes and your movie is ready. 360 is about choice, and i will make the choice to spend my $200 on a 500gig USB drive and hook that to the 360 instead of the HD-DVD player and download movies there. especially with active downloads now you could queue up 6 movies, by the time you done watching the fi...
if it does that would be awsome, because then it should have the friends and messaging features. it would be really cool to be able to do those 2 things from the zune. would sell me for sure.
not that it matters but this is the first time i have seen a normal size guy hold it, it is huge!. from the front lying down it looks like an old black 70s 8 track or cassette player
they are also forgetting the fact you GET a headset with the 360, no need to buy anything unless you choose get a 3rd party or wireless one.
