Most PSN game are $10. Most XBLA are $15. You can talk quality all you want (there are GOTY's on both sides) but ultimately it comes down to squeezing more money out of us gamers. I grabbed Beyond Good and Evil for $7CDN on PSN, and just recently paid $18CDN for Bastion. Two high quality games, two very different prices.
On top of the XBL subscription, my 360 gaming is getting expensive.
No dude, I don't know what that guy's beef is, Crysis 2 is so far one of the best games I've played all year.
Haha, she said they 'freebase' Mario. Gotta admit, she's got a sense of humor.
These are the only 100% wireless headsets (especially on the PS3). You can bluetooth not only your headset but also your phone, so you can answer calls/dial out OR turn on your music while you're gaming.
These also have a sound out, so when you want to use your headphones all you do is turn them on, no unplugging/plugging in, no changing the PS3 settings, just grab them from the stand and put them on. Amazing.
The 7.1 surround sound is incredible. Compare...
Leaderboards, speed runs and skill got rid of cheat codes.
Back then, you could claim almost any record and unless it was some national tournament you could basically cheat your way to it. Nowadays integrated leaderboards need to be clean, so good bye cheat codes.
This is shaping up to look incredible. I think this fall I'll skip fishing for cod. BF3!
Nice. I'm totally day one'ing this beta.
Wow, why more of these? Most of us are getting both games, the rest are getting just BF3. What more is there to say?
These got nothin' on the TBeach PX5's.
The newsletter!! DAMMIT. Thanks, I'll get right on that.
Outlands was awesome. Damn with Clash; I've beaten 'em both.
Tried it, said I don't meet the criteria?! I own every single BF game and expansion, across five systems. Damn.
I'll stick with my TBeach PX5's.
You can usually always tell when a game's using the Unreal engine. They look great, no doubt, but the similarities are there.
This is a day one purchase for me.
Dude, I'm already pre-GOTY'ing this game.
Maybe it flopped on consoles.
Not sure why I needed to address that to prove my point. u mad bro?
For those who didn't know, here's an oldie but still a goodie:

I don't think Pachter is actively marketing for 360, he's just victim to what many non-gamers fall for: Microsoft's marketing.
He talks about how amazing Kinect is, with it's microphone and face detection. That sounds cool to a non-gamer, but the actual gamer asks: "Then what?"
He then goes on about talking to your Mom on Skype, meanwhile the gamer asks: "What are the games like?"
He's communicating to...
You're right, the comparison doesn't work.
However your final point is suspicious. When you consider PSN Plus as an equivalent cost to XBL Live, not only are there insane deals, but using even your example a gamer would save a couple bucks buying BG&E on PSN instead of XBLA.
Over the long run when you factor in PSN sales and some cheaper exclusives (Shooter 2 being only $10 whereas XBLA exclusives are generally $15). You'd save a good chunk of...
