If they don't do a SKU-wide price cut soon, we'll see retailers taking the hit and offering short-term 360 'deals' to spur demand.
I can't see MS lasting too long at $50+, considering they'll also need to try and convince you to add on $60 for LIVE and $120ish for Kinect. Compared to the PS3, the 360's getting too expensive without enough justification for it.

You could compare a common rig setup--whatever you define it as. Just post the specs in the article. You're honestly using that as an excuse to not do a PC/console comparison?
You may smack-talk now, but we'll see console-vs-PC comparisons by the big boys soon. And while PC will undoubtably win (the developer used different/better effects for the PC version too) I'll be playing this on the PS3.

And it's not that close. 360 installed beats the PS3 by 5 seconds--that's a decent lead.
I've got a high-speed aftermarket PS3 HDD though, so I hope that helps a bit.
