...or is it?
I agree. 175K is an incredible amount of money for such a thing. It'd take you decades to pay that off.
She gettings hotter every movie...if you watch them in reverse order.
Looks incredible.
Day one.
No matter what MS does, the core will always reject casual tech, whether it's the Move, Wiimote whatever. You won't see anyone playing Kinect at MLG.
As long as MS understands this, and doesn't dumb down the core experience to 'Kinect' it, we'll be fine.
Nice list, but...
Forza remastered? A racing game remastered is called a sequel. I'd prefer Forza 4.
Halo 2? The game looked amazing, hell, even comparable to Halo 3. A remaster would barely improve an already timeless title.
Phantom Dust? Wouldn't sell.
Fable? The game's style and graphics haven't really changed much. If you went all out and did a Fable 1 "re-imagining" (ie. re-did the game) that mi...
lol wut
The difference is Nintendo (and to a lesser extent Sony) have the back-catalogue to do these remasters. MS has---Halo. That's basically they only game they can re-master.
GoW 4 would need a re-imaging like Reach did to the Halo series. New place, new characters, a graphical style that will separate it from 1-3 (different armor designs, weapons, enemies, etc).
Yeah I was wondering when the MoH buyer beta would start. I imagine a week or two week head start on the beta.
u mad bro
It definitely seems to be an interesting story. I wonder if only anime-styled games are able to take this kind of approach.
After re-reading my comment I realize I might not have been clear:
The 'moderation', that is staff-level decision making is adequate from my point of view. My concern is with the bubble system, or community 'self' moderation--that is a flawed system and needs to change.
Case in point: Peaceful_Jelly's comment below mine. Labelled as 'Spam' by the community? I don't remember the exact comment (I believe it was an anecdote), but ...
Agreed. While I did enjoy the game, it's no where near what Infamous 1 was.
Third time's the charm, right?
Unfortunately there are two main problems with the administration:
1) They view most of N4G as trouble making fanboys (as evident by many of their quotes)
and
2) They don't have the administrative/moderator talent to actually solve these problems
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, many sites have handled moderation better. I don't know of any other gaming community who's system is built around punishing...
Skyrim will be great. I'll just have to beat Uncharted 3 first.
True that. Any disagrees are from the 15-years who were too young to enjoy MGS at launch.
Remember the Psycho Mantis scene where he READ YOUR MEMORY CARD? Or the fact that, since he could read your mind you had to use the second-player controller?
The story, cinematics, characters, gameplay, many things we see in modern games were first done in MGS.
If you played using the 'Solitaire' control scheme it was. That's how the pro's played.
I don't care what Crytek says. Far Cry 3 looks incredible--if Crytek says it isn't "true FarCry DNA" then I don't what that DNA in the first place.
If CliffyB couldn't admit Uncharted's appeal he'd be a certified fanboy.
Naughty Dog holds developer talks just to teach other developers how to make their games great. However, if CliffyB's cheque from Microsoft was big enough, maybe then he'd be less likely to admit his true thoughts on PS3 exclusives (see Major Nelson, Greenburg).
Either way, I'll be buying both Gears and Uncharted day one. Good gaming is not bounded by one console....
