Rico... a General? Please, don't do it Guerilla xD
EBGames here in Australia have it up for preorder - they've priced it at 900 AUD (which is of course speculative).
They required 100 AUD on preorder, and although we don't know its final price, or when it will be out - I preordered anyway.
This leak seems to have come in a very timely manner. It has managed to generate even greater hype, articles, and speculation which all build to the announcement on the 20th. It seems to have acted as a minor viral advertisement for Sony's big event.
I always do question how many leaks are intentional. Either way - there is so much hype surrounding the reveal that I really hope Sony do show some amazing stuff.
I presume if the light is infact for move-like functionality, it could be used for actual positioning within space, 1:1 control, more accurate movement across axes, etc. This is in theory an improvement over Sixaxis, however I'm not sure how games would utilise it (would more than likely end up being a tacked on gimmick).
I do wonder if the inclusion is worth the cost (even if minor), if it has more limited functionality than an actual move controller (which I presume wo...
People can pay for services to give them a heap of likes to get the top comment spot and then generate traffic to wherever they want (you see it a lot on movie trailers and the like where they advertise to go to ____ to see it free, etc.)
You mean Killzone: Extraction? That's by pwnisher, so unless I'm mistaken it's not the same people :3
Is it not Rated E for Everyone? :o
I'm personally thinking of picking up a Vita soon, although I am hoping a price cut is in the works - would not hurt its chances at all.
It's N4G, you'll get disagrees for saying anything...
Don't take it personally :P
Not the disagreer, but even if it did get introduced (which I highly doubt), it would most likely not be to a level which makes you uncomfortable by any means. It would more than likely be enough so its noticeable but not extreme, even better if you could choose how much you wanted its affect (like a volume slider).
Ah well, I'm all for trying new things, the only problem if it was ever introduced would be increased price and whatnot.
It would probably have an option to turn on and off, like rumble does most of the time. That's if it ever sees the light of day - there are so many patents filed that never, ever, see the light of day - but are there 'just in case' or to stop competition doing the same thing.
Well they're disagreeing with him, because they disagree its exciting news D: Also just trolls, welcome to N4G ;)
For example, I'll most likely get a number of disagrees on this comment.
On topic, I really want to know where this will go :D
@Andree
I think he was referring to the 'Welcome Back' package that all accounts were given regardless of being a Playstation Plus member or not. So yes, he got free games and was not out a dime.
Regardless, I have Plus and find it is more than worth it considering the amount of *rented* games I get (the whole not owning argument doesn't bother me considering I plan to renew my subscription as long as the benefits keep rolling).
I think that game mode was confirmed for Black Ops II (*think* haven't been following the game a whole lot).
I don't know how you're getting so many disagrees.
Sure mobiles can play games, and there are some very neat apps out for mobiles. When it comes down to it, most people will find that if they truly want deep, polished games, then a portable gaming system is the way to go. Not a mobile.
I admit mobiles are brilliant for when your on the go, or on a short trip, commuting etc. But other times on a bit of a longer journey, a portable system is much more e...
@Vortex
As far as I know, they don't.
I hate it when the article doesn't come close to mentioning another game and trolls like you and Halo4 will bring them up anyway.
Whats the point? Halo is a good game, sure it hasn't evolved much but it looks great, and good on XBOX owners for having a good exclusive to play! I don't have an XBOX, but I don't feel the need to put down their exclusives in an effort to try justify my standpoint on owning a particular console.
Halo looks great fr...
People also seem to like to complain that they already have the game.
I have LBP2 and infamous 2, and always meant to get Apocalypse but never got the time. I'm not complaining, I know it was worth buying the other games, and it was my choice.
I hate it when people complain about optional extras they never even expected in the first place.
While it shows a little innovation from the COD series itself.. somehow...
During the ten minute gameplay preview I think it was the brownest preview of COD I have ever seen. Nothing really caught my eye as overly exciting, the sniper was interesting but nothing which hasn't been done before.
Im hoping they show more interesting sections of the game, because practically everything that was shown seemed like copies of another game.
I'm...
They can't really get sued can they? Thats why they put the clause saying that any resemblance to real life figures is purely coincidental, bla bla bla...
Someone made the point the other day if you could sue for them creating a character which looked like someone else, nearly every game company would be getting sued for creating a character resembling someone somewhere in the world xD
"Dam dude consoles are just toys LMAO Get a life"
Oh, the irony.
I am interested to see Microsoft's specs for the next XBOX, it will be interesting to see what they showcase.
