Nice! I was thinking the same thing... hilarious, for years the Sony fanboys would label PC gamers as "elitists".
Now, with Titanfall, they are scrambling to build their gaming rigs to maintain console allegiance.
@sckipt...
True. It's nothing wildly different... but, within the FPS genre Titanfall is like comparing Half Life to Pong. FPS has been STALE for a long time.
That being said, Evolve and Destiny could really shake things up on a much larger scale.
Dude, COD Ghosts is a last gen COD ripoff.
At least Titanfall is doing something different.
UAENO!
@kraenk12... your comment seems extreme. "The rest of the world is turning to PS4" Really? Is that why numerous devs are starting to come out and state a preference for Xbox One?
I'm not looking for a console war. You missed the point. If my friends were buying PS4's, so would I. But, they aren't.
@ qu1ckset... again, WTF is up with the insta-console war? You are also making absurd generalizations. So, because YOU don't know anyone...
I'm sitting pretty with a serious GPU and I was* originally planning on getting this for PC.
Here's the issue. Friends.
WAY more people play consoles than PC games... do I wish this was the opposite? Yes!
But, I have 2 friends that keep up w/ their PC hardware and 6-7 that already jumped to Xbox One.
Even with the temptation to run TF @ 1440 resolution; I may be one of the "converted" Xbox One owners in the ...
Pathetic, short-sighted opinion from someone who hasn't played the final version?
Hahaha... please separate consumer hype from marketing hype. Rockstar did the exact same campaign for Max Payne 3 and RDR. Almost down to the video releases and timeline leading up to launch.
If Rockstar released GTA VI tomorrow, they'd sell another billion worth of it. People love to bash it, but that's largely a function of the "hype" and people wanting to sound unique and different.
Waaaay to slow? Really?
They've released more DLC since the launch of GTA:O than any other game I've seen. Or are you just pretending that new game modes, mission editors, missions, weapons, patches and tweaks don't count?
Copy and Past of Duty has released one DLC pack since launch, it's ratings are horrid, and guess what?! It's just MORE OF THE SAME.
Meanwhile, Rockstar is building Heists, Casinos, more mission editor ...
If more gamers had your IQ, Call of Duty wouldn't sell more than 3 copies a year. Haha.
Yeah, agreed 100%. Rockstar is really trying to do something different. Instead of appreciation, there is instantaneous entitlement and bashing. Little do these whining morons realize; all they are doing is giving copy n paste developers more incentive to stop trying altogether - while developers like Rockstar face a whirlwind of negativity just for raising the bar.

Gears of War 4 - Nightvision Goggle Edition
Teaser or not... that is not a good screenshot. It looks like Doom 3 with trash on the floor.
Just noticed something funny on the "Ornate Bank Heist" video... or the supposed video I should say.
Misspelling in the 3rd line of instruction "Hold back the cops at the enterance" The enterance?
Then it says "Keep the enerance clear of cops." Then another instruction refers to the "bank enterance".
So... with those hotspots being blatantly independent variables (unlike official R* missions where th...
Wow... still rampant hate? 95% of the complaints have been addressed for well over a month.
It's still a fun game. I never have these issues (although I USED TO have those issues). Given the lack of 'next gen' titles, at least until March rolls around, there's no rush to burn money on a new console IMHO.
GTAV is more 'next gen' than anything currently available for PS4 or Xbox One... just my opinion. But, hey, if you like playing the...
Yeah, it is difficult for people who have a tiny bit of discipline to get it. But... we live in a world where there are "prepaid credit cards". Not just for kids' allowances either.
People really just have a hard time not spending the money they have instantly.
Agreed. There has been nearly 0 innovation since HL2. In fact, even with attempts to copy HL2's success, they have all failed.
The Metro series is probably the closest, but, even that suffers from a closed environment/limited dynamic elements.
Twitch-based games like COD and Halo just don't count, sorry. They are merely polished upgrades of Quake and Doom.
No one can fault your logic... I mean, who doesn't like a good honey mustard?
Terrorists. That's who!
Myopic people are still complaining about the 6 v 6 limit?
Sad.
Vote with your wallets!
What they should have done is released it for pre-ordering Phantom Pain... for a total price of $69.99 or $79.99 as a Deluxe Edition or "Early Access Edition".
To sell it for $40 and THEN expect people to buy the FULL game for $60 is quite a reach. It's exploiting the fans of the series and if they don't tread carefully, there could be a lot fewer fans for the next MGS.
- Everyone already has everything?
- Everyone hacked/modded it?
- There is "literally" nothing to do?
- They need to keep the content coming weekly?
You generalizations dilute your opinion almost instantly. You clearly have a mild form of ADD if you expect developed, QA'ed, uploaded, bug-free DLC to be posted every WEEK for FREE? WHAT?! Haha. What other developer is expected to give away free DLC weekly?
The game is st...
A dedicated SSD for gaming on a PC will solve any load time issues.
I plan on getting an XB1 or PS4... but, for single player games? PC is the way to go. Better gfx, better resolution, almost no load times, more options to tweak, mods, etc...
