The irony :)
The decision not to 'pirate' a copy of 'Thief' shows you have integrity.
Like those mongos who hacked GTAV and stole billions, justifying it because GTAV is a game based in crime.
@ iRocket
Thanks man, I wish I still had a crew that kept their PC's up to spec. But, it will be nice to have a shiny new console I suppose.
Plus, the game was free!
Enjoy the PC version.
I ordered it before it sold out (already gone on Newegg). Clearly MS isn't just* doing this to move consoles if there is a limited supply. If they were truly desperate, there would be no limit to the bundle.
Early adopters always get slapped in the face. 99.9% of the time that is what happens. If you have a good TV from 5 years ago, guess what? It's at Walmart now for $700 and comes with a case of Mountain Dew.
It would have been awesome if they thr...
Ordered it as soon as it was available, about 2 hours ago. Smart move by MS. For those of us who were waiting for a reason to buy next gen - this was an easy decision.
Respawn already confirmed that the PC version textures will be "insane" - I believe this was the adjective used.
There is no way the Xbox One will outshine the PC version graphics. Doesn't even make sense.
That being said, I played the beta on PC and just ordered the Amazon XB1 bundle w/ TF included for free. Graphics aren't everything (but single player games are no brainer decisions if you have a gaming rig)
Amen. Pass to the left and sit around the fire my brother.
Agreed. It is NOT revolutionary... what's the last game you would consider to be revolutionary though? This industry is scared of core innovation as we just witnessed with GTA V. Something that was truly unique, bashed into the ground for every single fault that could be found and commented on.
Truly revolutionary games haven't really emerged for years in my opinion. But it comes down to opinion I suppose: One could argue that Red Faction was revolutionary based on de...
Sweeeet. Just ordered the bundle and saved $60.
This doesn't show a lack of confidence or a weakness... it's a smart business move, no other way to slice it.
The Sony fans need to stop pretending that there is only room for one console. The PS4 is selling better, yay! Good job... we are so happy that your preferred console is selling faster than the competing console at the moment, Xbox One fans truly hope this allows you to sleep better at night.
Neither will your comment...
Just ordered the bundle.
:)
I know this is my last bubble... but, I just have to say, you have quite the vendetta against Titanfall. Just slamming TF like it is your job.
I get the idea of following a game, defending it, criticizing it, offering opinions on it... sure, but to just attack the same game over and over again? Just don't buy it.
I've played just about every FPS game from 10, 15, 20 years ago. Your comment about Titanfall being a 'disgrace' is not at all tru...
"Full on casual"? You do realize it is a multiplayer game, right? You should be up against other human opponents. The bots are secondary/tertiary priorities.
I had plenty of matches that were full of the opposing team working together 90% of the time and doing serious damage.
Don't mistake casual with streamlined.
I can't even begin to fathom the seething, console battle, flame-war comments that would be boiling over on N4G if anything like this happened with Xbox Live.
This kind of stuff is understandable from a business perspective; but, for consumers, not cool.
It is fun. Capped out my level in the beta playing it. I really don't like CoD anymore (stopped after Black Ops, tried GHOSTS, terrible)... so, this is a welcome change.
I never* spend enough time in alphas/betas to max out; and I've been in a ton of them.
Agreed 100%...
The same people whining about 6 v 6 are those complaining about TEH BOTZ!
Play the game. It is awesome.
You spend a lot of time talking about how easy the game is for your son...
Did you actually play it?
Trust me - you feel like much more of a bada$$ when you end a match with 15+ pilot kills and 5-10 titan kills.
I don't think the target audience is children either.
Good thing I got those disagrees! Could you imagine what this industry would be like if the end users liked innovation?!
Ugh! New stuff...
Yeah. They were "custom" apparently... but, it was just a series of canned fatalities. Various buttons combos that "stacked" generic attacks and called them fatalities.
I was thinking more of a level editor mode. But, instead of building a new level, you literally edit and develop the animation behind the fatality itself.
It wouldn't be easy! But, camera controls and perhaps a library of scripted, pre-done animations could be combined...
I'm a fan of Xbox over PS4. But, this article is pointless. There shouldn't be a console war attached to it. There shouldn't have been one attached to the MS instance either.
You want them to drop mics above the audience for an authentic cheer sound? What about the sneezes? Coughs? Phones? Comments? Negative PR?
These are press events and live streams, these companies don't take silly risks just to make a bunch of forum flamewar fans happy.
Exactly. I spent a month weighing pros and cons of XB1 vs. PS4...
1080p is nice... but, a slight, hardly noticeable ding in resolution in exchange for error free MP gaming?
I ordered the XB1 + TF after playing the PC beta.
The netcode was literally seamless.
This argument that it's "Easy" makes no sense. Everyone has the same guns and the same quick aiming ability... right? So, it's a level playing field. If I am better than you - I win.
You don't get any advantages as the player with less skill. So, "easy" is a very relative term in a game with no SP campaign.
If the learning curve is not steep. What's wrong with that? I could argue that Call of Duty is "easy" - it...
