Data is data. No matter how you slice it. This is apples to apples.
TF is owning Second Son despite the estimated user base for PS4 being double. It's not like either system has a ton of great games at the moment.
Perhaps PS4 owners are too busy bashing XB1 and TF on N4G to pre-order Second Son?
[Raises Hand]
370k is killing it for a system that hasn't been out for very long. 370k is killing it when you consider that the "superior" PS4's release of Infamous: Second Son is missing the 370k mark by well over 100,000 pre-orders [despite being released close to TF]. 370k is killing it because this doesn't include the bundled copies. 370k is killing it because it's not even including the 150k+ pre-orders from 360/PC.
So, that'...
... and you clearly never actually played the game.
@Kingthrash360...
Clearly you aren't paying much attention to the general tone of the comments here on N4G.com.
I was being sarcastic in response to the waves of negative feedback around TF and the Xbox One in general.
I have no interest in the console war. It's silly. I am just entertained by the people who fight the war with no end.
We're basically on the same page. Minus your last comment, where you too, are...
Oh, that's because this isn't coming to PS4... so, everything about it has to be bad by default.
You didn't get the memo?
This game works now?
Ummm... what? That comparison video makes no sense. It would have been a better idea to take uncompressed screen grabs and compare stills.
Half the time you don't even notice the switch from PC/XB1 if you are paying any attention to the video.
Next gen Shaq-FU!
YES!
Will - are you ready for this? I'ma be like "SAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" ;
No, you aren't "just sayin."... Seriously? You are just sitting around waiting to bash MS. I love your "research" and links and how confidently you state your opinion as fact.
What is your ultimate goal? (This question goes to all of the blind, aggressive, myopic console loyalists on N4G)
Would your goal be achieved if Xbox One was pulled off of the store shelves tomorrow? So that Sony has no viable competition. Do you understand why ...
Your comment is irrelevant to all generations.
Spell check is your friend.
That's nonsense.
Skyrim? Fallout? GTA? Red Dead?
These are all great games, very non-linear, and still maintained the very difficult task of having overarching goals on top of that freedom.
If one doesn't have the mental flexibility to enjoy open world games that is one thing... but to say they aren't fun in general is just silly.
Pretty much. I feel like all of the people still complaining about GTAV either:
1. Think they are AWESOMELY KEWL for not liking a game that cost a quarter of a billion dollars to make
Or
2. Don't have the mental capacity to enjoy a truly non-linear game and actually require the structure put in place by most other largely linear games
Or
3. Based their entire opinion on the launch issues surrounding GTA:...
Hey again TurboGamer... you are out of bubbles, so, I'll be nice. No sense in kicking a man while he's down and has no way to publicly respond.
You claim that I'm lacking 'reasoning skill' in my responses. Yet, I am actively doing work in the Azure environment after having conducted a full SWOT analysis of other hosting/cloud partners. Azure won that battle, hands down. On price, performance and options.
Your argument seems to be based e...
So did I! I was so excited. They should totally do a game.
Yeah, money comes a little too slowly, agreed. I noticed that earning power went up a good bit with some recent changes; but still nothing like it used to. I'd imagine these cars will be pricey.
... and casinos.
But, at least this is something*
In the meantime, now that they've curbed the cheating, they should announce raised earnings from missions.
Explain to me how your cold hard facts about the poor performance of Azure just supported millions of players immediately upon launch with almost no lag or any net errors?
Also, explain how we have an incredibly resource intensive app that is running brain-meltingly fast on the Azure servers for a large client. 1,000's of simultaneous users, parsing online and offline data simultaneously in the background. Never a hiccup. Costs nearly 30% less than one of their larger com...
@jmc8888
That's right. All of the incredibly advanced forecasting/financial models that are based on 1,000's of data points and trends come from a giant random number generator.
It's just pointless "mathematical guessing" (that drives the entire economy)... exactly on par with armchair critics.
Who needs math?! Not this guy! Just make blind claims with no supporting information. It's just as good, maybe even better. ...
"Under this logic no one can ever offer a better price on any product."
That statement should pretty much sum up all of these stupid articles.
Well said.
Bubble vote.
@THC CELL
I highly recommend reading your own comment back to yourself, out loud, prior to questioning the intelligence of anything or anyone else.
In case you missed it:
"ai dumb lol the best ai in a mp game is killzone 2 btw what has mech and 32 players out"
That's some solid work out of you. Once I get that translated I will prepare a response.
