Do you know how many F2P games there are? Haha. 2 mil is still a lot.
Imagine if the ill-informed people out there knew about the beta? Probably would have cracked 3-4 million easy. That's 2 million people that were actively looking to play the beta.
Dude, epic video, makes me re-think my play style from the ground up.
That kind of vertical play makes me think of Titanfall as a blend of Tribes and CoD with mechs on top.
Just ordered the Xbox One + Titanfall.
Azure servers are solid. As I'm sure everyone saw in the beta... the ability to scale is insane. These being MS servers and an MS exclusive should prevent any downtime.
How about a custom fatality editor for MK 10? Pair that with a custom Kombatant option...
Next gen + MK = Epic
Agreed. Tony Hawk became a series of coasters when Skate was released. The learning curve and difficulty is awesome. I hope they don't dilute that in the new Skate... keep true to the control mechanics.
I think we're safe with the comments though. Something tells me that one of the largest developers in the world won't spot this small thread and modify their product life-cycle as a result.
Then play American Wasteland... haha
Yes! I remember that mission! Oh man... me and my friends played it for 2 or 3 hours until we finally got it...
I don't agree that the game was boring though. You could spend hours in the same little area perfecting your runs.
I agree 100%... and to Kevin's question - I'm not totally sure why. All 3 Skate games were great, but, I think the reason I prefer Skate 2 above the others was the raw animations.
Skate 1 was a bit tame, Skate 3 has the advanced physics/off-board mechanics, but Skate 2... something about the crashes, the sense of speed when bombing hills, the injury challenges... I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it just felt more complete.
Almost like th...
Lack of SSD's for next gen consoles maybe?
The Doom Reborn mod actually appears to have light sources... a step up from Doom 3 (Flashlight simulator)
When did you play it? There was a ton of criticism surrounding some of the very* early versions of the game.
Most of the gaming industry folks who had a chance to preview Thief at a much later phase seemed to go back on their negativity and said it was significantly improved.
Maybe I'm wrong, but, I have faith. Perhaps it is misplaced, but, I would hope* that they wouldn't be silly enough to release a next gen Thief game that single-handedly destroy...
Armchair economists here... the console battle is hilarious. If anyone thinks MS is going to let their lucrative Xbox Live customer base slip away, you are nuts.
Await the exclusives, the system sellers, the incentives, bundles, etc... give it more time before declaring a winner and a loser... and remember that there is plenty of room for 2 consoles in the global market. And then Nintendo is there for the children!
Even if PS4 "wins" I'm sure t...
Yes. I know exactly what that list means. Here is a definition of the temperature scale for you:
"What are the temperature signs beside each news article?
With hundreds of news stories being posted on N4G each day the more important stories can easily get buried by the less important stories. To solve this problem all stories are rated by temperatures to shows how hot a news story is. When a news story reaches 100° (degree Celsius) its temperature ...
That sucks man... sorry to hear. In no way am I trying to start a console battle (I'm agnostic in the console war).
But* if you had an Xbox One and said it RROD'd, there would have been 37 anti-MS comments by now.
Good luck with the PS4 repair!
P.S. Who the %&&% disagreed? Hahaha, how do you disagree with someone when they stated that something broke. That's not a thing.
Hahaha. I just had to unhide your comment to see it. You are funny...
Yes, the expectations are high. Thief is currently on the top 10 list for N4G activity. That is not an accident. I consider that impressive when you think about how the game is intentionally not targeting a very wide audience (when compared to COD or Titanfall).
They are also investing a significant amount of money in a marketing campaign and have a healthy volume for pre-order sales (desp...
I played all of the original games. I'm not at all doubting Thief 4. It looks awesome IMHO.
I'm not really sure I "get" the comments about how this isn't true to the original games. Besides, it has been ages since Thief 1 & 2 (the good ones)... the game needs to evolve.
Let's just hope it evolved properly. I'm putting my money on a blended review score of 8-8.5 out of 10. As a fan of the originals, that's darn near clos...
I'll vote either Agent or GTA V that comes w/ early demo access for Agent in the future.
Maybe Rockstar was waiting to see who took the lead in the next gen race before choosing the "primary" system to release an enhanced version of GTA V on.
Obviously it would be announced for XB1 and PC shortly thereafter, so, maybe they will only put this much steam behind an exclusive.
Agent?
Dude. I'd buy a PS4 tomorrow if they rebooted Bushido Blade. One hit kills and hyper accurate hit detection?
Agreed. Weeks ago I made countless comments to try and calm down those people complaining about 6v6. Suggesting that they hold their opinions until they try it.
Well. I tried it. And 6v6 feels good to me too.
Some people just like to complain I suppose.
The full version of the game isn't free... and that has 60,000 more pre-orders than Infamous: Second Son.
If you add on the # of PC pre-orders (which would likely be twice as high if this was available on Steam), it adds on another 70,000 pre-orders on top.
I don't think this is just a function of the beta being free. Sorry.
